About this property
Norton Coach House - Cheltenham Spa
Immerse yourselves in the culture of Cheltenham Spa with a stay at the beautifully styled Norton Coach House. Perfectly fitting friends or families there is flexibility with the sleeping arrangements and a host of places to dine and drink on your doorstep. Spend your days exploring the bustling streets of Cheltenham, enjoying a bite to eat at one of the many cafes and bistros, shopping the boutique stores or attending the ever-popular race days or festivals.
On your arrival you will be surprised to find the coach house tucked off one of the main streets in a secluded spot. The ground floor is a modern and spacious open plan living area which makes the most of the space available. Open the doors to the terrace to really maximise this area and bring the outdoors in. It is a house made for celebration with a large dining table made from repurposed wood and steel and a comfortable seating area where you can watch the included Virgin Media TV channels. Upstairs each bedroom has been cleverly designed with their own en-suite shower rooms, and there is the fantastic addition of a bathroom on the ground floor if you'd prefer to have a long soak in the tub.
At the end of your days exploring the town, return to Norton Coach House to have a drink on the terrace as the sun goes down or fire up the BBQ for a grilled feast. There is off road parking for three cars on the driveway.
Ground Floor
Open Plan Living/Kitchen/Dining Area: Split into three clear zones, the open plan living area stretches to the terrace beyond. The kitchen features an open brick wall, created using bricks from the original property dating to over 250 years old. Dark units hide a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is also a double oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area. Reclaimed wood saved from the refurbishment has been used for the table with steel legs mirroring the beam which separates this area from the comfortable seating. The dining table seats up to eight.
Finishing this room, the sitting area has two three-seater sofas which can be converted into beds for added flexibility with the sleeping arrangements. These soft velvet sofas contrast with the rougher textures of the steel and brick. There is a smart TV which includes access to Virgin Media and a large coffee table. French doors from here open to the terrace.
Bathroom: Alongside three en-suite bedrooms, the ground floor bathroom as a bath with shower over, WC and sink. Micro concrete walls and additions of black create a sleek, minimalist style.
First Floor
Bedroom One: This double bedroom sits at the front of the house and despite its compact size has everything you could need. There are bedside tables with lamps, a TV, hooks to hang longer items of clothing and a built-in cupboard beside the bed.
En-Suite: The wet-room style en-suite has a shower with a rainfall head, WC and sink. A skylight brightens this room which is a clever use of space.
Bedroom Two: The second double bedroom mirrors the style of the first with bedside tables and lamps, a TV, hooks and full-length built-in storage. A slimline window provides light while preserving privacy as you are not overlooked.
En-Suite: In the en-suite is a shower, WC and sink.
Bedroom Three: The final bedroom is a twin room which can be arranged as a super king-size on request. You will find drawers in the bed bases and there is built-in storage. This bedroom overlooks the rear of the house and there is a TV.
En-Suite: Completing the accommodation is the final en-suite with a shower, WC and sink.
Outdoor
At the rear of the coach house is an enclosed terrace, finished with bricks and flooring repurposed from the renovation. There is a table and chairs seating six making this a great place for a BBQ on sunny days or to bring drinks outside at the end of the day. To the front of the house is off road parking for 3 cars.

Perfect Place to Stay
We love Cheltenham for short breaks and coming to the Races.
After many, many years of visits. We have finally found the perfect place to stay.
The communication with Karen before and during our stay was fantastic.
The house is clean, modern, spacious for 6.
Homely but roomy and a very sociable place to stay.
It has every facility you should wish to have.
The bedrooms all have en-suite with an extra bathroom downstairs also.
The location is right by the train station with a lovely walk down the old railway line straight into Cheltenham just down the road.
Parking for 3 cars.
Local shops and pub literally next door.
We will definitely be coming back.
Thank You.

Great weekend accommodation
Well appointed and nicely furnished this was perfect for 3 friends for a weekend in Cheltenham. Short drive to central town, but there are amenities on your doorstep too. Great to have 3 en-suites and a downstairs bathroom. Lots of glasses & nice crockery. Recommend!

Beautiful Coach House
A close group of 6 friends had a fantastic stay in the Coach House. It really is home from home. The kitchen diner is great. A massive dining table was perfect for a large group to gather around. The kitchen is very well resourced with anything you can think of. We cooked three meals no problem. The bedrooms are cosy but each have a lovely en-suite with the added bonus of a bathroom downstairs. Karen our host was excellent. Quick to respond to anything and very helpful and accommodating. Thanks Karen. A fantastic stay.
Comfortable, modern, beautifully clean and spacious accommodation

Family Summer Holiday
We had a wonderful family holiday at Norton Coach House. The house was very well equipped for 5 adults staying there. The location was great as we were able to walk to the Montpellier area with wonderful restaurants, it was also very near the train station and had plenty of off road parking. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that I had and went above and beyond to retrieve a lost ring in one of the bathrooms.

Faultless In Every Way
We have stayed in many holiday rental homes over the years and this is the best we have ever stayed in.
Booking and information though Bolt Holes was spot on with easy systems to book and 3D views the property to see fully what it was like.
The Coach House was perfect for two couples, immaculate in every way. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed. Situated with 2mins from the train station, bus stops, and coffee shops / cafes. I’m sure we will book again.

Brilliant
A really super property that had everything you could think of. It was really clean and well maintained and very modern. I would recommend without hesitation. The only thing to bear in mind if you are taking your dog is there is no grass.

2 weeks stay Norton Coach House
The house is a dream. Good location near station and bus stop. Rather short stroll (about 20 min.) to the city. The house is spotless clean. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a nice little garten with a huge Barbecue (we didn't use it)
It is a quiet area. I had a good night sleep.

Weekend break
Norton Coach house met all our needs. It was easy to find, and had driveway parking. We were a group of 5, and a dog, and there was plenty of room downstairs, for us all to socialise. The house was very clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were a bit on the small size, but were all en-suite, which made up for the lack of space. Tea, coffee, milk etc were left for us, which were appreciated.
The property was only a few yards from Cheltenham Spa railway station, which was very handy, as one of our party was travelling by train. It was an easy walk into town, and a lot of beautiful Cotswold villages were within easy driving distance. We met the property manager, Karen, on arrival, and she was very friendly and helpful. It was a lovely place to stay.

Wonderful
This place is lovely. The owner is most accomodating when I could not open a locked door. We had a small problem with hot water temperature but that was solved asap.
The bedrooms are neat in size since however since there was only 5 of us it was not as issue. 6 people would be a squeeze if for more than a weekend. Downstairs is roomy and lots of space for relaxing and eating. Love the downstairs full bathroom.
