Lovely quirky cotswold cottage (Old Telephone Exchange)

Exchange Cottage has been thoughtfully renovated keeping many reminders of it's past. It comfortably sleeps 4 people with two bedrooms; a downstairs super king or a lovely bright king bedroom on the top floor which can be made into a twin on request. Both bedrooms are en-suite with a large p shaped bath on the first floor. Plenty of storage space. There is a downstairs toilet. The main living area is very comfortable for four people with a dining table, lounge seating, TV and log burner. The kitchen is compact but very functional and well equipped. Outside, there is a courtyard with seating outside dining. The property is enclosed with a fence. Parking for 2 cars on the drive too.

The cutest Cotswold cottage

This cottage was perfect for our stay. The hosts have really kept this property up with modern features and tons of charm. The only thing better than the accommodations was the town. Met the sweetest locals and had our fill of good food and drinks. We will absolutely be coming back to stay!

Perfect quirky cottage in a lovely village

This is our second stay here and we came to tour the Cotswolds. The cottage is perfect and has everything you need, the village has a lovely restaurant within east walking distance and it is located within easy reach of visiting other local villages and towns. So much history and beautiful buildings and sights to see!

Beautiful cottage

This was our second stay at this cottage, a home from home, it had everything you needed for a comfortable, happy time away. The village is very beautiful with lots of amenities, spectacular church, and it position in the cotswolds makes it near lots of places of interest to visit. Lovely place.

I want to live here!

Very central to various places in the Cotswolds but such a joy to return to and to get up in each morning. Everything was there that we needed and I enjoyed the outside space to sit and read a bit and to dry some laundry. So bright and airy, roomy….we just loved Exchange Cottage and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Delightful weekend in the Cotswolds

The property was clean and comfortable. It was nicely outfitted and it was great to have the washer and dryer. Plenty of hot water, it is the perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Northleach we found to be a delightful village. Stay there, it was great.

Beautiful Cottage

Everything was perfect at this cottage, it made a special weekend away with my daughter extra special. I could not fault the cottage at all, well equipped with everything you could need, a home from home. Location was great, the village was lovely. Really loved it.

Great accommodation in Northleach

Really nice accommodation with quirky features reflecting the history of the building. Good sized bedrooms both en suite. Well equipped kitchen and comfy sitting and dining area. Log burning stove was great. Good to have an enclosed garden for our dog to be able to go outside without being on lead. Good pubs and handy shops in easy walking distance. An excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,

Fabulous property

The Exchange Cottage is a fabulous little gem. Was ideally situated for my day trips I had planned. Northleach is a nice little town, a couple of nice pubs, a lovely cafe & some nice independent shops. Definitely will be back.

Stunning cottage in a beautiful village

We booked to attend the Gold Cup at Cheltenham and do some sight seeing of the local area. The cottage was perfect, bright and clean, lovely friendly village, pubs and bars within walking distance. The host was most amiable and helpful with all my questions. We are hoping to visit again soon!

Comfortable Haven in Well Located Village

Perfect stay with everything we needed and super comfortable beds. Centre of charming village just a short walk to restaurants, grocery shop, the river and a fascinating old church with bells tolling every 3 hours (also through the night). We thoroughly enjoyed the Northleach Self Guided Walking tour. Highly recommended!

Half-term holiday stay

The location of the property was perfect to visit other areas of the Cotswolds. The property was quiet and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night. The location was ideal to explore and walk around the village and countryside. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Perfect little cottage!

Perfectly situated to explore the Cotswolds! The town itself is so nice to walk around and take in the history. The cottage is perfect for a small family. It was a nice touch to have coffee stocked and a supply of books and movies for a cozy night in! The garden is also so sweet and I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee and listening to the church bells. We hope to be back!

Lovely few days in Northleach

Property is ideally situated in Northleach, which is a great starting point to explore the cotswolds. Northleach has some great restaurants and pubs. Some lovely walks around northleach as well. The property is neat and tidy, with plenty of amenities. The bedrooms are spacious with great showers, the outside bits are a bonus when the British summer allows! Quirky and deceptively roomy

Lovely location and property; deceptively roomy with two generous bedrooms and social space; more than enough for two adults and two children. Couple of bits missing that we would have expected to be there e.g. shampoo and logs for the fire. Excellent communication beforehand giving details of areas of local interest, places to eat, etc. Loved the little details linked to the building's past as a telephone exchange. Great central location in Northleach.

Nice, quiet stay for 3 people

We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! There was plenty of firewood left for us for a 2 night stay and we had the log burner on both nights - some instructions for this might have been useful though. The cottage is only a 5 minute walk into Northleach centre where there's a small shop, butchers and a pub.

Wonderful !

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely cottage . The hosts were wonderful - very helpful, friendly and quick to respond . The cottage was very comfortable and even had its own fenced in garden. It was very quiet and peaceful as well. WiFi was fast and reliable. The town of Northleach is small and very cute , and the location is quite close to many other places in the Cotswolds but without all the tourists! There is a very small grocery store in town and other bigger grocery stores within 10 minutes drive from the cottage. I highly recommend this place! Thanks !
