We have stayed at this complex previously but a different lodge. A lovely place and due to the weather we were in the outdoor pool which was amazing. Would recommend
We had a lovely stay . Lodge has everything you need . The hot tub was a great addition overlooks fields and saw lovely sunset from hot tub on the Saturday. If you want a few days away to relax I would recommend.this place.
The property was as described online and was excellent accommodation. The hot tub was a very welcome addition and also the on-site swimming pool. It is situated in a peaceful rural location and the lodges have been designed to give privacy. Highly recommend.
Had to cut our trip short due to an injury, however owner was so understanding with the whole situation, the location, facilities were great, hottub was perfect addition to this stay to over look farmers fields and their lifestock, so relaxing and would 100% come back again!
Myself and my friends enjoyed a quiet weekend in Cheddar, exploring and relaxing. The house was spotless and hot tub was incredible!! Absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Thank you :)
We loved our week at Tor Farm, location is perfect for days out and the facilities are perfect. Pool and hot tub added something special. Everybody we met was so lovely. Having a little garden was great for our dogs. The beds were sooooooo comfy. We could not have asked for a better lodge.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Self check in & out was easy, hosts were so helpful with clear directions on how to find the venue and very thoughtful for late check out on a sunday! Everything advertised was on point!
Area lovely. Management and running shocking. Would never return or reccomend

Great but not that great
A lovely location and lovely lodge.
A few things that didnt work.
Tv in double bedroom, socket behind heavy wardrobe was broken. Could not connect the cable for the aerial
Only one slot in toaster works.
White large radiator in kitchen not working.
Bathroom mirror light in en-suit not working.
Jets in corner Bathroom not working.
Early morning wake up at 8am by jacuzzi checking. Should be done when quests are out.
This property was booked as a last minute to take my two grandkids away . It’s not a five star but a Ten Star , everything about our experience with this break was ten star , the lodge was amazing and had everything you would need , the best part was the quality of the beds, and especially the pillows, we’ve travelled the world in our time and have never experienced the comfortable nights like this .. amazing place , amazing location , amazing facilities, amazing host , and last but not least.. amazing weekend, a must try for a quiet relaxed break for all ,, a credit to the owners xx
First class accommodations could not ask for more.Located in the middle of nowhere which was what we were looking and hopefully will return later in the year
My sisters and I had an absolutely fantastic weekend staying the Clover Croft Lodge! The surroundings were beautiful, the farm and facilities were stunning and clean. Everything was superbly organised and very safe in line Covid restrictions.
Karen was a brilliant host, always responded to messages and questions promptly, putting our minds at ease.
The local area was also wonderful and we used the restaurant recommendations for dinner both nights which we absolutely fantastic.
We would highly recommend this accommodation and would love to stay again in the future.
Thank you!
Lovely location, emaculately kept cabin and friendly and helpful hosts. We really enjoyed our stay! Close to town and shops, cabs and food for delivery available but we rented a car for convenience. We'd love to visit again!
Really enjoyed my mini break away, beautiful location, easy to find, very relaxing! Cannot wait to go back in the winter!

Owner called my friend a liar.
Great place, awesome location with stunning views and the lodges themselves were finished to a high-standard. The hot-tub is great and we were lucky that it was positioned with better views and more privacy than the other lodges. Overall we had a very relaxing time here save for 3 things.
Firstly the property was advertised to us as a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom rather than the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom it actually was. We were not offered any partial refund. The listing has since been changed, but the third bedroom was a deal-breaker in the planning stages so we felt a partial refund would've been fair as we would otherwise not have booked here.
The BBQ is not a BBQ. It is a pile of bricks on which you can place a disposable BBQ. This wouldn't be a problem, but the shops are very far away so we had to improvise given the hour. It would be better either to have built aa actual BBQ or not to advertise one.
Wasp Nest. There was a Wasp nest next to the Cottage, which made it very hard to relax in. Wasps were ever present and not shy about getting in your face, food, bedroom. In fairness the owners may not have been aware of this prior to our stay.

Clover Croft lodge stay Aug 20 to Aug 27 2010
I stayed at Clover Croft Lodge at Tor Farm, Somerset with my wife, two sons (aged 17 and 15) and daughter (aged 8) during August 2010.
The holiday was exceptional. The lodge was a major factor, It is situated, along with three other lodges, beside a main guest house with a small outdoor heated swimming pool, surrounded by fields with cows and sheep. A real escape, particularly for people not from the country. The hot tub at Clover Croft Lodge is private, being situated round the back of the lodge overlooking two open fields. This suited us perfectly and we spent a lot of time in the hot tub, either all five of us or me and the wife alone. It did not matter if it rained (which it did) - the water is kept at lovely teperature. The lodge itself is almost new and very comfortable with two bedrooms (master has a double bed and has en suite facilities). The second bedroom has twin beds and a desk. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs fixed to the wall as does the main living space. The main living space has a large leather sofa in a room that also contains the kitchen and a breakfast bar area with stools that can be raised and lowered (however, the stools were high and awkward or our 8 year old daughter to get on and off). There is no fireplace area as in some luxury lodges we have previously stayed in - a slight hiccup for us, although it would not deter us from returning (in fact we have booked to return next year and we do not usually visit the same place twice!). A hamper is provided on arrival. The hamper contains all the essentials we needed and was very welcome (only niggle was no soap in bathrooms so if you forget soap you are a little inconvenienced).
The surrounding area is another factor which makes the lodge at Tor Farm a great place to holiday. You can choose to 'chill' around the lodge some days, or visit places like Cheddar (with the gorge caves and experience (although we did not visit the caves - we ran out of time so intend to visit them next year). Other places we did visit include Weston Super Mare - a lovely sunny day when we visited - great if you like traditional beach holiday time. We also visited Wells with it's stunning cathedral and Bath with the very interesting Roman Baths. Wells Cathedral is free and the Roman Baths are reasonably priced. Longleat Safari Park and House is 45 minutes away (although we took the wrong road and got there after 70 minutes (road signage is poor until you get 5 miles away).

Fantastic break!
I stayed with a friend and 5 girls ageing from 5 - 9 years, in late Aug, we had a lovely time, the accommadation was great all very clean and very comfortable. We all loved the hot tub, fantastic to sit in and watch the sun set. The girls enjoyed the swimming pool which we used loads as the sun was out! will be back if ever in the district.
