This cabin is the definition of peaceful nostalgia. We loved the decor, all the books, and how peaceful it was. We had our two 16yr old kids with us and even they enjoyed the cabin, but especially Maggie, the owner's dog who came to visit. We will go back.
This cabin was very unique with decor and very comfortable. The stream was great to get in and cool off, fish, look for rocks. We enjoyed walking down and looking at the historic buildings and antique equipment. Very relaxing just sitting in the swing in the screened in porch listening to the water.
Im not one to normally leave reviews for stays but this property was beyond amazing. It exceeded all expectations! We will be back in fall for sure with the whole family. Maggie was the highlight of the trip for all the kiddos. If your looking for something close to things to do but secluded at the same time, this is the place to be!
The cabin was great except for the upstairs. The beds were not comfortable and there was no shower. the kids had a great time playing outside. If there had only been two adults and only the children had to stay upstairs, it would have been perfect.
The cabin was better than described. The creek and woodland setting was perfect for a weekend away. Cabin was cute, cozy and plenty of space for our entire family. I would definitely return!
We stayed three nights and really loved the cabin and location. Secluded and peaceful. The décor was rustic and fun. Angie was a great communicator! Loved it!
This lovely piece of property was a blessing! It is secluded and tranquil, offering a unique opportunity to unplug and relax. The hosts are amazing and Maggie(their friendly dog who occasionally visits) is a treat! The running stream is visible from all angles and provides a peaceful backdrop for the ears and eyes. Highly recommend the Falls View Cabin. We will return!
We absolutely loved our stay at this one of a kind cabin. The antique decor was amazing. The creek was so beautiful and relaxing. The location was perfect. Just far enough away from Ellijay to avoid the traffic of the apple festival, but close enough to still enjoy what both areas have to offer. We are already planning our trip back to Dennis Mill when we can stay longer and do some hiking. I have stayed in a lot of cabins, but this one is definitely in my top 3!
This property was even better than we expected. There are other properties close by but the way they are arranged gives it a secluded feeling. The mountain stream runs along the back of the cabin and is just beautiful. The cabin has a wonderful screened back porch and large windows so the view is accessed everywhere you go. The property has nice walking trails along the creek through the wooded areas and around to the old mill at the entrance. The cabin is decorated so well. Our time here was a lovely treasured memory.
The descriptions found on the site do not do this cabin and property justice. This cabin is tucked into a mountainside. There are great trails and a cave just across the stream you can climb up. The owners dog was amazing! She lead us down the trails! That was really cool. The kids were better keeping up with her speed through the trails but she was a major bonus with lots of love to give!
The cabin was perfect!!! We loved staying there. My husband even went into the creek. We were there for Black Bear Festival and it we loved being there.
The cabin is a great place to get away from it all. We came here to recharge before holiday travels, and it was fantastic. The host was kind, helpful, and handy when needed (I broke a glass and had to get a shop vac to clean it up).
The cabin was extremely cozy. My wife loved the kitchen, mostly the stove. Being right next to the creek was very enjoyable. Maggie’s visit was an added bonus for my wife as well. We look forward to visiting again.
This was the most amazing little piece of paradise. The cabin, the view, the sound of the running water while swinging on the screened in porch. A weekend was definitely not long enough. And Maggie was the sweetest dog, Our kids loved her!

Beautiful property. One of my favorites. We were there to attend an Elite Linemen graduation and wish we could have stayed longer to see everything.
The Fall’s View Cabin is adorable and furnished so well. It has decor an artist and antique lover would love. The creek is so beautiful and the property is as well. The owners are so nice and accommodating. It is my new favorite place to stay. There is nothing bad to say about this place if you love rustic homes with a real old gas stove to cook on and peace and quiet. Even the mountain bluegrass music that was playing when we walked in was perfect for the setting. Just perfect. I would give it a ten star rating but there isn’t one. Clean, comfortable and peaceful with nature all around. Just like we love.
