Spotless clean

Great value hotel and it is what is is - £70 a night perfectly beautiful clean basic but that the deal - friendly people and nothing at all to fault - will stay again

L'hôtel est idéalement situé tout près des télécabines du Linga, ce qui est un avantage indéniable pour le ski : pas besoin de voiture, ni de navettes, quelques minutes à pied suffisent pour arriver au départ des pistes. Il y a un parking privé gratuit, ce qui est un gros avantage pour Châtel. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux et efficace. La chambre était grande et fonctionnelle. Petit bémol : il n'y avait pas de lit double, mais 2 lits simples. Le buffet pour le petit déjeuner est extraordinaire, et les repas du soir copieux et très bons. Une très bonne adresse à recommander pour les skieurs !

Séjour ski entres amis, gaché par des gérants sans considération pour leur clientelle, peu aimables, sans initiative et réfugiés derrière une autorité groupe Parisienne Structure confortable, vieillissante mais bien entretenue méritant des gérants de qualité et de métier, alors meme que le reste du personnel était fort sympathique. Pour l'anecdote : Après quatre nuits, s'entendre dire que 2 à 3 chambres ne peuvent etre prolongées jusqu'au départ de 18h ( afin d'y loger le chauffeur du bus et permettre a 42 passagers de prendre une douche ) est inadmissible, qui plus est quand on se réfugie derrière le manque de chambres et sa direction parisienne.... alors qu'en dernier recours j'ai pu louer et payer en ligne une chambre sur la dizaine disponible... , bref des gérants sans honte mais sans fierté non-plus !

A Hotel from which to Ski

The hotel was comfortable and did everything it 'said on the tin'. I had no complaint and I will stay there again.

Séjour agréable dans un hôtel idéalement situé à proximité des pistes. Local à ski bien tenu. Enfin le petit petit-déjeuner était très complet et très diversifié. Pas de fausse note pour un rapport qualité prix très satisfaisant.

2 nuitees à châtel. Emplacement idéal à côté des télécabines du Linga. Directeur de l'hôtel très sympathique. Hôtel très propre et petit déjeuner qualitatif. Dîners plutôt simples.

Un couple de gérants au top !!! Merci pour cet accueil et ce professionnalisme. Malgré des soucis de réservation de la part du site web ils ont trouvé une solution sans frais supplémentaire. Bonne continuation !

Great location, Great Food.

This hotel is great for the cost, just what you need for trying to ski on a budget. The food is lovely, rooms clean, location right next to the ski lift. The people there were so helpful, our Saturday night flight was cancelled due to storm Dennis in the uk so we decided at the last minute to get an earlier flight home, the gentlemen at reception said he would take all our ski's (13 sets back) to the rental shop and left coffee for our 4am departure.

De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. De mensen spreken goed Engels. Mijn zoon brak zijn enkel op de eerste dag maar ze leefden erg met hem mee en voorzagen hem van alles. De kamers waren prima met een heerlijke douche. De ski ligt naar boven lag 100 meter verder op. Het enige wat ik miste was een bakkertje en/of een supermarkt op loopafstand.

Great location for ski cabin.

Excellent location for the ski lift. Hotel comfortable but went at end of ski season so bar not open at night and hotel very empty. Rooms small but clean and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Hotel very basic but very clean and gave us what we wanted for the money. Getting a drink at the bar is light getting blood out of a stone which is a shame !!

Groupe Elovia à boycotter.

Hotel correct au charme désuet car très anciens. Inconvénient, on entend les voisins. Le personnel de l'hotel compense tous ces défauts car ils sont agréables et super serviables. Par contre, nous avions réservé 2 chambres pour un séjour entre amis. L'un de nos amis, la deuxième chambre 209 n' a pas pu venir à cause d'un cas de force majeur : un décès dans sa famille proche. Nous avons averti l'hotel la veille de l'arrivée et essayer de trouver une solution. Au bout de 24 heures, on nous a dit de voir avec Expedia car la centrale refusait un geste. Expedia a également essayé mais Mélanie de la Centrale à refuser un geste commercial (Report, bon d'achat, remboursement,..). Par contre, la chambre 209 a été relouée et occupée… bel rentabilité de groupe Elovia et pas commerçant. Honteux d'être motivé par l'argent et pas par l'humain. Groupe d'hotel Elovia à boycotter, une telle attitude ne mérite pas de clients.

Muy bien situado, a pie de pistas, al lado del telecabina Linga que da acceso a todo el dominio esquiable de portes du soleil. Habitaciones muy limpias y confortables. En frente del hotel hay tiendas y pizzería. Y parada de autobus gratuito para llegar a otras zonas de la estación y al núcleo del pueblo Chatel. Volvería sin dudarlo. Unico comentario negativo, es que un día al llegar estaban las ventanas abiertas y hacia mucho frío en la habitación hasta que la calefacción calentó la estancia.

Very nice hotel, exceeded my expectations

We stayed half board during half term week to ski with a group of friends including children aged 6-11. The hotel was clean, warm and spacious. Staff were friendly and tolerant of our noisy children. There was storage for skis. Breakfast was served from 7.30 and lessons started from Pre La Joux so we had to get a move on to get the ski bus for the 9am lessons but we made it. You could walk to Linga to start skiing but we could not find instruction from here. The food was nice but with no choices in the evenings for fussy eaters. Dinner did not start until 7pm, so younger children might struggle. Would recommend.

Great hotel with amazing breakfast

Great hotel well located. We enjoyed our one night stay in between two days of skiing at the Portes du Soleil. The breakfast was outstanding: a lot of choices for drinks and food. Cheese and meat platter, crepes, croissant and fresh bread.

Hôtel idéal pour skieurs

Nous cherchions un hôtel simple pour skier tous les jours. Nous n'avons pas été déçus !!! Accueil formidable et la demi pension est fortement conseillée !! Hôtel avec parking gratuit situé à 50M du départ du Linga !! En face de l'hôtel, il y a des boutiques. -25% de réduction sur vos locations chez Crépy sport grâce à l'hôtel. Possibilité d'aller à Châtel avec un bus gratuit toutes les 15 minutes. Toutes l'équipe de cet hôtel est très accueillante.

Hotellet er lidt slidt, men ok med to stjerner. Ligger rigtig tæt på skilift der fører til Portes du Solei. Det engelske sprog er nok noget de har hørt om, men ikke noget der tales eller forstås.
