"Nice Hotel, comfortable beds and good breakfast"

"Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été reçu par l'hôte qui s'est montré très avenant et à l'écoute. La maison est juste splendide, notre chambre était confortable et bien équipée. La salle de bains commune est très grande. Niveau propreté, tout est nickel. La piscine couverte et chauffée est juste formidable même s'il faut traverser la maison pour y accéder."

"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. "Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."

"Love this place! The building is beautiful, meticulously restored and very comfortable. Mark is a friendly and accommodating host. The town is lovely and peaceful with some beautiful walks. The kids had a great time at the pool. Breakfast is spectacular. We will definitely be back. "

"Great ovetnight stop for a motorcycle trip , supermarket 5 mins away , resturant was really nice , bar on site , only thing i would say is no cvtv in car park but bikes were fine as it is in really nice area "

"Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds. No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "
