"I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! "

"Apartment location is good (7 minute drive from old town Blois). It's well equipped, very comfortable and very clean. Landlord's communication isn't great - I had to chase for check in instructions rather than receiving those proactively from the landlord. Note that, if you click on the "click for directions" link inside the listing within the VRBO app it will take you to the wrong direction (0.6 miles from the actual location); best to type in the specific address manually into the GPS."

"The information to get to apartment was not clear at all, the work part was trying to get into the place. They warned about locks but was almost impossible to get entry for both outside and inside doors. Was so bad we didn’t leave for evening as we didn’t think we’d get back in. Next morning couldn’t lock it. So frustrating. Left message on board but no reply to this day. It was very clean tho"

"The apartment is helpfully located near Tours city centre and is about a 25-minute walk from the station. It is very basic, but is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay: the excellent shower is definitely a highlight. The spiral staircase up the first floor is very steep and tight, so do bear that in mind. Finally, be warned that there are no fans (let alone air conditioning) in the apartment, so it is stiflingly hot in the heat. I appreciate this is not the host's fault,...

Sehr ruhige Lage, gute Betten. - Einzig die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein (Matratzenüberzug mit einigen Schmutzflecken, Filter mit Kaffeesatz in schmutziger Kaffeemaschine, Salontisch mit Speiseresten usw.).
