"The house was gorgeous and very clean. We played games and cooked meals there. We relaxed by the fire and in the hot tub. It really is a beautiful retreat out in the woods, but still convenient to dining or stores if needed. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home to others. Host was very quick to respond with questions and provided info exactly as detailed in the listing."

"We stayed at this cabin for the Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay, Ga. It unfortunately happened to be at the same time as Hurricane Isaias' arrival so while we didnt get the enjoy the property for as many days as we would have liked, we were cozy and dry inside this wonderful cabin. Grilled cheese sandwiches and soup never tasted so good! This cabin has everything you need. It is the perfect riverside, mountain cabin. The wrap around porch/deck has plenty of seating and great views. The one day we were able to enjoy the property we hung out by the little river and the dogs had a great time chasing the leaves as they flowed downstream. There are deer everywhere. The property is close to several apple orchard businesses, including Reeces Cidery, which is a must visit! Amicolola Falls and the start of the Appalachian Trail is right down the road. The town of Ellijay is 15 minutes away and there are plenty of grocery stores/shops for supplies. The family has already requested that I book this cabin for next years festival!"

"Our family arrived completely burnt out from work and left totally refreshed. We had such a great week here.The house worked perfectly for us. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom was a huge plus, and we loved all the porches and outdoor spaces. The kitchen was very well stocked, so we ended up cooking most of our meals at the house. We also used the outdoor grill several times. We especially loved eating together at the big farm table out on the covered porch.There was plenty to do without even leaving the property. Several of us fished in the stream in the backyard, we used the hot tub, played games, and sat around the fire pit together. Even little things, like having plenty of towels for the hot tub, were appreciated. One of the highlights for me personally was spending hours on the porch reading my book while rocking in a rocking chair.It was just a really relaxing, easy week with our family, which was exactly what we were hoping for. Great house, beautiful setting, and a 10/10 vacation for us. We’d definitely come back."

"The Retreat at Clear Creek goes to #1 on our list of places to rent in the Georgia mountains. It is a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains and easy access with no steep hills. The pool, hot tub, pickle ball court and ping pong table are a great bonus. We had 10 adults with plenty of room, towels and kitchen with fully stocked dining and cookware. wear for everybody. The owner was great to work with and always quick to answer any question or concern which were few. A plus for us was the large dining table where we could enjoy eating together, If you enjoy wineries, there are many beautiful wineries within 20 minutes, I cannot think of a negative for this house. We will return."
