"The hotel is in a fantastic location. It’s close to two metro stations, shops, restaurants etc. The hotel room itself was perfect for our stay. The room was a good size. The beds were very comfortable. It had all of the expected amenities including a decent sized fridge. Building works were unfortunately taking place during our stay, which we were not informed about. We would have had a drink at the bar on arrival for example, but the building works noise made this impossible. We also laid in one morning after a busy day and was woken by the builders machinery. On check in we found a pizza in one of the cupboards (which absolutely stank) so it did give us doubts as to the cleanliness of the room, but staff very quickly came and removed the left over food. On check in it didn’t feel particularly welcoming. We were given the key and room number very swiftly and were not show the direction of the lift or told the floor number. Our room number was also told to us verbally (rather than just being written down), and as 2 females travelling that felt weird. I had understood hotels did not verbally inform of room numbers for security purposes. Maybe this isn’t applicable in Belgium. We very much enjoyed the location and the surrounding areas. Travel was easy. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The gem to this hotel is the location."
