Fantastic location to visit battlefield -situated right on the point where Wellington commanded the victorious allied army - cannot be beaten. Stayed here 8 eight years ago and in Set 2023. The Hotel rooms are very basic and starting to show their age. 15 Euro's for a continental breakfast was a bit expensive. However saying that if I were to visit the battlefield again this would be my first choice

The bedroom was very small - could barely get around the bed to the toilet !.And although the decor in the bedroom was ok , and the bed & linen were fine,the corridors, and outside etc were looking a bit shabby Breakfast was very poor for the 15 euros they changed each. Wifi was good & nice to be able to watch Amazon Very convenient for the Waterloo museum and plenty of private parking.

Waterloo Battlefield- stay on site

Great hotel located on Waterloo battlefield, at Wellington’s crossroads, and 300 meters from Lions Mound. Ultra quiet and modern - great breakfast and superb innkeeper.

You cant get any closer to the Waterloo battlefield. Just look out the window of your room as this hotel is located on the a tual battlefield. Highly recommended.

Great location for the battlefield. Mid July, very hot. Hotel not full, but we ended up on 3d floor, so very warm; no a/c, no fans. TV did not work.

Yes, it sounds cool to stay on the Waterloo Battlefield, but it's really not. You are in the middle of actively farmed fields. The Belgians did not really preserve the battlefield at all, so you are just out in the middle of nowhere and stuck. If you don't drive, you are double stuck. The rooms are busted up and extremely tired. The restaurant in the hotel is quaint in that oh this is a completely amateur affair but the people are nice kind of way. The breakfast is an absolute robbery, but there are zero other choices. Just stay in Brussels and head out in the morning and your life will be much better.
