Fully modernised but traditional home in the beautiful Touraine countryside

Set in heart of the Touraine countryside, the two bedroom accommodation forms part of a recently modernised longere. It retains many of the original features such as the tiled floors but is fully modernised and equipped .
Surrounded by farm land, it is an ideal location for exploring the Chateaux and vineyards of the Loire, the natural beauty of the Brenne area or simply enjoying the many local walking trails through fields and woodland. The local markets, including Loches (Wednesday and Saturday) and Amboise (Friday and Sunday), provide the opportunity to sample the local specialities and there are many excellent restaurants in easy reach.
The living room is a comfortable place to relax in any season. For the winter months, there is an open fire. There is a Smart TV so you can access your preferred streaming service as well as French TV channels, as well as a DVD player (DVDs available) and a music center. A selection of games and puzzles is also available. The kitchen / diner is fully equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. There is access to a washing machine in an adjacent area. There is a wood burning stove for the winter months that provides cooking facilities as well as central heating.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two single beds. A third bed can be provided in this room upon request.
There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, with shower and toilet. The house is not fully equipped for disabled visitors, but for people with reduced mobility there is a sofa bed in the living room and easy access to the bathroom downstairs.
Outside there is parking, table and chairs and a BBQ. The garden is south facing and benefits from the sun until late evening.
The garden is secure and well-behaved pets are welcome. We have dogs ourselves and our neighbours in the hamlet have cats and chickens so we ask that your pets are kept under control at all times.
There is a second property adjacent to this one with its own garden and there is a shared laundry room between the 2 properties.
We live near the property and are available for any questions you may have during your stay.
