"Beautiful property and surrounding area. Extremely clean and elegantly updated. The reason for 4 stars: rooms do not have mini frig, or coffee makers. Also they don't have a small store to purchas sundries and lastly, their really isn't a Conceige... so no brochures or help. We found out the day we left that there was shuttle, which we would have utilized if we had known.."

"The representative, who assisted with my check in was exceptional – prompt, friendly, and helpful. She was very efficient with the check in process. The main issue that I had was that housekeeping did not empty the kitchen trashcan, so it was full from the previous guest. I can understand that oversights happen once in awhile, so this didn’t make or break my stay, but it is always nice when details like this are not missed! "Great Customer Service by Duber and Forrest. I have stayed at this hotel probably 5 times over the last 4 or 5 years. It has been remodeled, and looks nice, but they took the ceiling fans out of the room which I would prefer they still had them. Also, the pool is usually closed whenever I am there--not sure why--but then the price should be lower. Breakfast was great though a "free-for-all" with no apparent line so there was some awkwardness."

"What a pleasant surprise! We found the Hilton Garden Inn (Uptown Charlotte) to be a delightful experience from check-in to check-out. The room was perfectly clean and quiet. The bar and grill staff were extraordinarily pleasant and accommodating. We had a light supper at the grill as well as breakfast the next morning, and both meals were fresh and delicious. "

"There was a glitch in the entrance gate for self park. Help came immediately allows us to enter and just pay at check in. Original room held for us was not ready when we arrived at 5:00. Another room on a lower floor was offered and credit applied to our account. Honestly I would never have known. "
