"We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return."

"This was really just a crash pad for my wife and I as we spent three nights there while visiting old friends in the area. Worked fine for that purpose at what was a reasonable rate for the Rhode Island seashore. Nice pool and grounds but we did not use except to briefly sit outside reading for 40 minutes one evening. Room is small but adequate. Despite a nice thick barrier of evergreens between the grounds and Rte108 the road noise was considerable while sitting outside. Not while in our room, though. We would stay there again. I"

It felt like the vacation home we’ve always wanted, not just a rental. It was hard leaving every morning to venture into town for sight seeing… & we looked forward to getting back home to enjoy our family time there every time we did. The views… by far better than the pictures! It’s literally surrounded by the scenic lake from every angle.
