With close proximity to upper King Street and the Crosstown (Septima P. Clark Parkway), the location of this home enables guests to walk to restaurants, shops & other cultural delights and provides quick road access to Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, all local beaches, Charleston County parks, historic plantation homes along the Ashley River and other local attractions. There are a lot of new local restaurants -- as well as all the offerings of Upper King Street -- within a couple of minutes stroll from the Sweet Spacious Suite. With D'Allesandros Pizza (a local pizza institution), Brown's Court Bakery (amazing breads & pastries) and the Ordinary (high end oyster & seafood restaurant) a couple of blocks, guests have many unique local food options to explore. Walk to Barsa for some Tapas or visit the Daily for some coffee or locally made Kombucha!
This is the best neighborhood in Charleston if you are looking to be steps away from King Street and experience the area as a local in a transitional neighborhood among new residents of the city, students and longtime local families. The diversity and richness of history in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood makes this part of town desirable to locals and visitors alike. Sweet Spacious Suite is perfect for folks who enjoy a diverse, vibrant and eclectic neighborhood where you can watch the reinvestment & revitalization in old historic properties going on in real time. Parts of the neighborhood might still look a bit rough but it is safe. This neighborhood was recently profiled by the WALL ST JOURNAL in April 2017 as "THE PLACE TO STAY IN CHARLESTON" and it's also where Jamie Lee Curtis stayed - and walked her dog every morning - while shooting the 2018 remake of the Halloween movie!
We are close to the crosstown parkway which may impact light sleepers but our db readings show it isn't loud enough to be a disturbance. There is also construction in the street which is almost complete but may result in additional noise during the day or other issues beyond our control.

Our stay was wonderful! Perfect space for our group and location couldn’t have been better. The host was also very responsive to question and amazing customer service. Would highly recommend!
We came for a sister’s trip. We had such a great time!! It was a wonderful place to stay and close to walking to all restaurants, tours, and shops. We would definitely stay again!
The place is bigger than expected with a great hangout area on the main floor. The location is ideal for walking to all the bars and restaurants. The iTrip team communicated well with all the details before hand which made it easy to just show up and enjoy the city of Charleston.
We had an incredible stay while we were in Charleston! We had everything that we needed and the hosts were so quick to respond with any questions or requests that we had. Close and Cozy
We traveled with friends to visit Charleston and review our history lessons. The home is well appointed and centrally located. We especially enjoyed watching "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", as one evening was quite rainy. Loved Delasandros pizza shop. Close and delicious.

The property was clean and the bathrooms and kitchen looked to have been recently upgraded. However, its right next to the highway so the traffic is pretty loud. The road and driveway are tiny, so parking was a little tight. The neighborhood is quite nice with lots of local spots to eat and shop.
Our stay in Charleston was great. The home was clean and ready for us. We were within walking distance to shopping and great restaurants. Parking was convenient off of the street and in driveway next to our house. We had a great time.
The Sweet Spacious Suite was the perfect set-up for my husband and I and another couple on a weekend trip to Charleston! Two big bedrooms, each with our own bathroom. Walking distance to fantastic local breakfast spots and shopping on North Kong Street.

First time in Charleston
We were very pleased with our accommodations. Sweet spacious sweet was extremely clean, very spacious and very comfortable. We will recommend to our friends.
Stayed for 4 nights with my wife and mother. The location is brilliant, 10 min walk from the bars and restaurants on King Street. The living area is very spacious and the bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are great. The hosts were very responsive and gave us the options to check in early and check out late. Would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful traditional architecture with some modern updates. Easy to access the historic part of Charleston, and come back to relax.Nice kitchen supplies and comfortable beds, Efficient HVAC and sweet little porches.
We needed a home base to move our daughter into college. This was a great location to spread out our local purchases and launder new bedding. Walkable to campus and all the amazing restaurants in the King St. area.
We travelled to Charleston for an extra long weekend. It was amazing. The house was very clean and the highway traffic noise did not bother us in the least. There were restaurants, breakfast places and shopping all within walking distance. It was easy to get to all the places we wanted to go. Would definitely stay there again.

What a great place!!
This house was perfect for the two of us and our dogs! The house was so close to everything Charleston. The neighbors were friendly and the workers never bothered us or got in our way. The Sweet Spacious Suite in Charleston had everything we could ask for in terms of amenities. The location is great as well, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of King St and only 20 minutes from the airport. The driveway is somewhat narrow, but so are Charleston’s streets - get a smaller rental car when staying in this city. Overall we had a wonderful time, aided by our lovely accommodations.
We were fortunate to have found this townhome, just two blocks from King Street, with convenient access to numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. While the property is older, it was comfortable, impeccably clean, and the hosts were both responsive and welcoming. The beds were cozy, and we felt very safe during our girls' weekend. Perfect for a party of four for a long weekend. Most of the time we kept our car in the driveway and walked into the heart of Charleston. Many breakfast choices within a few blocks. Great having two bathrooms and loved the hardwood flooring without. Enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival!
We rented this place for my husband's birthday, and it turned out to be perfect for our needs. The location was ideal, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The backyard was great for us, especially since we were traveling with our dog. While there is construction directly behind, it was quiet from Friday to Sunday. However, the noise on Monday started around 7 am and was quite loud.
