We had a really nice stay in Charleston celebration my Daughter's Sweet Sixteen. Walking distance to most everything, lovely shops and restaurants within a few blocks.
The house was clean, cozy and in the perfect location—not too close to the busy part of town, so it was quiet, yet close enough that it was quick and easy to either use the Carta shuttle or quickly drive downtown. The beds (and especially the pillows!) were the most comfortable I’ve had in a long time. We loved it and would stay there again.
Property conveniently located walking distance to upper King. Apartment was clean with typical smaller bedrooms but comfortable beds. Parking is short half block walk. Quiet spot.
The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to all the restaurants on King, and Spring streets. There is a huge construction site nearby and they were driving piles starting at 7:30am until 4:39 pm, so the noise was more than a little bothersome.
This is a nice little house. Open plan on the first floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. It's nicely equipped, spacious on the 1st floor, and everything was very clean. The only negative comment we have is that there's some noise: Next door's AC unit (or whatever it is) is quite loud and there's a construction site in action on weekdays from 7:30 AM (it's now mid-March, 2025). We had a great stay, walking/bus/Uber to downtown and enjoying this beautiful city.
This spot was in a surprisingly perfect location. Right down the block from one of the best new restaurants in the city and two blocks from another gem. It was exactly a two mile walk down king street to the waterfront with all the other sights in between.
The condo was perfect for 2 people. I think it would be tight with 4. But well appointed and comfortable
The location is the biggest selling point for this property. Beds are comfortable. The high top table setup and living room seating... not so much. The outdoor patio is a cozy spot for relaxing. Overall, the property is beautifully decorated and as pictured. Lots of hot water and having the washer/dryer was a plus. We enjoyed our stay and were able to walk everywhere! The pizza shop on the corner is delicious and Island Provisions serves nice breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The location is close to all the shops/restaurants on King, but on a street much quieter than King. Perfect for a short getaway.
Everything was great except a few hiccups: there were dishes in the dishwasher when we got there and a lot of bugs (gnats/mosquitos) in the house. Also some dead bugs on the stairwell.
box of Kleenex and paper napkins would be nicemore hangerswe had trouble finding the parking spot at night and did not feel safe walking from there unless we both went together
