Our property is a legally permitted vacation rental as required by Charleston City ordinance. Our certificate of operational number is OP2024-05539

One block from the heart of the entertainment district of Upper King Street. You will know you are in the South when you are greeted by 12 large palms, a live oak, and a large sycamore tree at the front of the property.

The property consists of three rental units. Unit A which is the bottom floor of the historic house, Unit B (this listing) which is the top floor of the historic house, and Unit C which is the house in the back of the property.

As you enter Unit B from your private, large porch, you will be stepping into the living room featuring a cathedral ceiling, original beams and fireplace, and historical hardwood flooring. The home was fully restored and renovated to result in Charleston charm with modern convenience.

Came to Charleston for our son’s wedding. House was clean and comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Location was close to great restaurants and shopping. Had rain all weekend but the porch was a great place to sit and visit with family protected from the rain.

This property was conveniently located near King St with nearby restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. There was a lot of space for our group of friends to have their own spacious bedrooms and gather together in the centrally located living room. The only downside is the very narrow set of stairs that made it difficult to move heavy luggage to the unit.

Perfect location

This place was absolutely perfect for our girls trip. House was clean and the location was perfect! Walkable to sightseeing locations and great restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful front porch in the morning. The hosts were communicative and check in easy.

Awesome stay in Charleston, SC

We had the best time here! Our group of 7 ladies was quite a large size to accommodate in a central area and close to all the activities, and this spot was just the ticket. Thank you Miki, everything was perfect - we really had an awesome experience in Charleston (which was a first visit for us all). Highly recommend this property, great restaurants and breakfast spots nearby.

Fantastic Family vacation in Historic Charleston

This was our family’s second stay here. The location is perfect, a block from King street, close to all the historic houses, restaurants, etc. Clean property, well stocked kitchen, very confortable beds. We enjoyed the ease of the check-in and out, there was ample free parking for our group, washer and dryer. Many thanks to Miki for being a responsive and helpful host. We hope to be back!

Great Stay in Charleston

Just finished our stay at this property in Charleston and had a fantastic experience! The owner Miki was incredibly responsive, the booking process was easy and she answered all questions quickly. Perfect 50th Anniversary Destination

Great stay in Charleston for my family of 10. Kids and 5 grandkids together and enjoying the city by foot and free DASH bus. The property is updated and modern yet has the old charm of 1850 when the property was built. Easy walk to bus stops and restaurants. We had a great 50th wedding anniversary.

Perfect location in a historic home with modern conveniences. A great sound system in the main area, along with fans and white noise machines in each room, made for nice personal touches. Cute, convenient, and clean!

Stayed here on a girls trip and it was perfect. Miki met us to check us in and show us around. The place was immaculately clean and freshly renovated. The beds were very comfortable. Our favorite part was sitting out on the porch. The place is very convenient location about 1-2 blocks off King Street (but just far enough it’s quiet.) it’s right near restaurants and coffee shops so we didn’t even need a car. Can’t wait to stay again!

Amazing place - book without hesitation

Everything about the rental was great! Miki was welcoming and oriented me to the house and neighborhood. Fabulous stay right off King Street

My family and I had a fabulous time in Charleston. This rental couldn’t have been any better. We usually stay in hotels, but I loved having so much room with the family being with me. This Vrbo was absolutely perfect and beautiful in every way. The location right off King street was the icing on the cake. All restaurants and shops were all walkable. The owners met us at check in and showed us around really quickly and gave me some local favorites around town. We look forward to staying here again. Girl's trip success

This was the perfect accommodation for our group of 8. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. I was so impressed by the ipad surround sound, which ended up being key to getting our energy up for another day out in downtown Charleston. Miki was very thorough in going over instructions and responsive. Check out requirements were not laborious.

Weekend away

The location was perfect for walking and exploring downtown Charleston. The bedrooms are quite small and only fit the beds, minimal space to keep luggage in room. We had 9 girls for a 4 day stay and the host only provided 4 trash bags and 4 rolls of toilet paper for the entire stay. When asking if she would supply more she said she only provides starter supplies which I think is ridiculous for the price of this apartment and something we haven’t come across previously with other renters.

More beautiful than the photo!

Believe it or not 205 B St. Phillip St. is more beautiful than the photos. Our group of 4 women friends couldn’t have been happier with the stylish and comfortable accommodations! The location is a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute Uber to everywhere. In 4 days we visited everything on our list. Miki and her husband were friendly, helpful and willing to address some of our specific travel requirements which definitely improved our experience. Would be remiss if I didn’t mention the intriguing paranormal happenings we noticed in this historic home after dark! Stay here and see for yourself!
