A fabulous location! I appreciated the historic value of the hotel and did not expect 2025 amenities. However, I felt extremely vulnerable and unsafe in the shower. It desperately needs to have grab bars installed and needs to be painted with a non-slip coating. I slipped more than once, and only the showerhead saved me from falling. Also, there needs to be something to hold onto as you enter the steps into the hotel from Market Street. I know historical is extremely limiting, but there should be some way to steady and uneven entrance.

Amazing Location

The Planters Inn is located in the most magical spot. It’s so easy to walk to all the best places for shopping and eating. The Market is directly across the street. The wonderful higher end shopping is just down the road on King Street!
