"What a beautiful hotel! We had never been to Charleston and booked this day because we like the old world charm. This hotel was perfect for us! It was right on King Street where all the main stores are. Walking distance to the markets and great local food places. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We were there just for two nights so my daughter could visit college of Charleston. The college was just around the corner! Don’t hesitate to book this stay!"

"Was okay, feel there are much better spots to stay at. Location was great though but expected more for the price. Premium king room was extremely small. Do not get a room on the 4th floor, it is a nightmare to go to your room as the main elevator only goes to the 3rd floor than you have to walk the long hallways to go to another elevator to get to the 4th floor. Staff was friendly though "

"The hotel claimed to be updated. If some of it looked new, the rest was not. Our room had filthy baseboards floors, and carpet. The breakfast was free but I didn't eat there. We checked in in the afternoon and the milk was still out in a pitcher on the counter. If I could have received a refund, I would have left the hotel to find another. The sheets were clean. I can't believe this hotel was given a 5 -star rating on Hotels.com"

"The room was clean but the bathroom tub needs to be recaulked. Very little hot water for a shower. We were in a separate building next to the main building. There were no ice machines in our building. Had to go to the main building. They charged $11.00 to park and that was not mentioned when I booked the room. Did not get breakfast as we had to leave for the hospital. I would not book a room at this location again. The proximity to the hospital was great."
