This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Beautiful house with a great location. The house was very clean, and communication with the host was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
Wonderful Charleston charmer. Great location, close enough to everything, but far enough from the noise of King St. Very well appointed, with updated kitchen and bathrooms, but keeping the historic charm. Check in process was easy and having a parking space (a 5 minute walk) is a bonus.
Super clean, super comfy, had all we needed for a weekend getaway. Close to CofC where our daughter goes and was convenient to shopping and dining! We would stay again!
I loved that we were walking distance from so many things. We loved the place to stay and that is was 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom-there were 4 of us there and it was perfect!
The space is very clean and exactly as pictured. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space for our group. The location is a just a short walk to King St. We would definitely stay here again.
We were very happy with our stay at this property. The location was 1 block away from my daughter so we were able to have quality time to visit. Downtown was a beautiful walk and we found great coffee and lunch spots nearby.
Super close to King Street and some amazing restaurants all within walking distance. The house was nice and clean. The AC doesn’t appear to be able to keep up and you can’t lower it below 70 degrees, there are fans in the rooms but we found it to be hot for sleeping. The properly manager was very responsive and offered to bring more fans, but we just dealt with it.
We had a wonderful time. The location is within a 10 min walk to King Street. Great places to eat and fun bars are so close! Wonderful communication with the host. The place was clean and stocked with all that was needed! There was the cutest patio area to hang out on after a long day! Can't wait for out next visit!
Loved this property. Beautifully decorated and clean. In a great location. Only downside since we had to rent a card was parking was a couple of blocks away. Other than that it was fantastic!
I visited the Downtown Charmer for 3 nights with a few friends. Our stay was seamless from an easy early check in, parking, location, and cleanliness. As we left we discussed if we ever came back to Charleston we would want to stay at this same spot again!
Place was great. It was clean and spacious. The host were great and very easy to get in touch with. The location is perfect as it was two blocks from King Street.
The house was close to King Street, and getting to locations via walking/Ubers was easy! The streets of were a little confusing, which made the parking harder to access, but overall would stay at this place again :)
I loved the place and the location. Extremely clean and updated. Only issue I had is that the parking for the upper flat is about a half a mile away. Not a problem in good weather but if it were bad weather it could have been an issue.
