Highly recommend for a wonderful stress free stay in Charleston
This was the perfect place for three couples to stay for a relaxing and accommodating stay in downtown Charleston. The house was beautiful and everything was clean. Comfy beds and all three couples had our own private bed and bathroom. The Coach House itself is back off of the road so it was quiet but still within walking distance of downtown. The ease of booking and checking in and out made this a stress free stay and so very glad we decided on this versus a hotel. There were three parking spots right in front of the house for all of our cars and didn’t have to deal with the typical parking issue in Charleston. We were able to cook a little bit so we weren’t eating out the whole stay. Overall, we had an amazing weekend and highly recommend this property for a stay in Charleston! Hope to stay here again!
The house suited our needs so well. Three adult couples with 3 BR, 3 baths so we each had our own space and a lovely living room to gather and visit. Only fixed breakfast and munchies and had what we needed. GREAT to have parking spaces since they are a premium in the area. Good communication. Thank you!
This place was absolutely perfect for a friends trip of 3. Each bedroom and bathroom were great/clean/comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and felt luxurious. Close to lots of places and an easy walk downtown. Thanks for a great weekend!
Charming aesthetic, quality beds, and perfect location within walking distance of everything we did in downtown Charleston. Loved the history of the house as well. Each room had a doctor's plaque on it.

Great Charleston Weekend
This was the perfect house for my husband and myself, along with our 2 children and their spouses , while in Charleston for my nephews wedding. The check in process was easy, the house was clean, and we even got to watch the medical school graduation that was going on across the street , as well as enjoy another wedding at the house next door. We would definitely rent this house again . Charleston is the greatest city- loved every minute!
Great location out of the chaos of downtown and easily accessible either walking or Uber. Closer to upper King St and a lot of bars/restaurants. House was awesome and very clean with plenty of space and separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Shared living area much bigger than depicted in the photos - comfortable place to hang out. Although no dining area, was easy enough to eat in kitchen and place also has a big folding table and chairs which were great! Would def stay here again!

Disappointed
So
Unfortunately we are less than impressed with the house. For so many rooms which do accommodate up to 7 people, there is no common space to gather. The photos on the website are misleading. The kitchen and living room only seat so many. Water pressure in the showers is poor, the stove burners uneven and the whole place has a mildewy smell. Location could also have been closer to downtown The beds were adequate and the bedding was comfortable. 5 stars? No. 2 stars at the most.
That being said, having a washer and dryer is nice, how about adding pot holders in the kitchen?
The parking spaces & not having to clean are great as well.
All in all, I cannot recommend this VRBO.

My sister, 2 nieces and myself enjoyed our stay there. Great location, roomy, clean, quiet for the most part. A couple notes that could be better. Ac floor vents needed to be opened. They were dirty and half closed. Vent/ducts need cleaning to make the ac and air quality better. Suggest they get a step up for the downstairs bed. The living room furniture needs replacing-no springs or cushioning left. Living room remote and printed book of house info was missing. The pod door for the soap in the dishwasher did not pop open during washing. Upstairs bathroom drain would not stay open. The outside front lights don't turn off. But truly overall the management was prompt and helpful when we had an issue and we enjoyed our stay. But with having so many issues we felt we overpaid to stay there. It needs some updating and some tlc in places.
Three completely en suite rooms that all had comfortable beds, sizable bathrooms. Small but comfortable living room. Kitchen is separate without dining area but does have a small eating bar against wall. It was perfect for three of us to each have our own space but could gather in LR and make breakfast and such.

Very nice to look at. Master on main has 4 poster bed. I am 5'6" and it was VERY hard to get in and out of due to height of mattress. Very simple fix would be to get a "low profile" box spring and drop the height about 4 inches. No place for all of us to sit and eat together. TVs upstairs had only 2 channels. Walls are paper thin. Neighbors next to us had a LOUD get together the first night we arrived. Could hear everything through our paper thin walls. While staff is friendly, courteous and prompt with any requests, I would not recommend staying here. We loved the city, walking or driving, Wonderful history and beautiful properties. Charleston is a MUST see.
Musty odor. No outside sitting area. Ants in kitchen. Inadequate water pressure. No eating area for more than two. Cleaning lady entered property while we were still in residence.

Charming home
Located across from MUSC and near The College of Charleston, this charming old, three bedroom, three bath home was a great location for our family trip. We could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go, yet had privacy and on-site parking. The home was clean and the management company very helpful.
