Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Beautiful stay near King Street!

Perfect size for 4 people to enjoy a weekend in Charleston! Very clean and equipped with everything you need! Hosts are very attentive and communicative!

Wonderful over night stay.Very comfortable master bedroom .Shower spacious and well stocked with provisions. The towels , wash cloths.and hand towels were soft and plenty full.

Our family of four had a great stay in the Crosley Suite! It was an easy walk to King Street and other local spots in the neighborhood. Parking is great on the property and management was very communicative upon arrival and checking in on us during our stay. We enjoyed Charleston and our stay with this host!

We were only staying for one night, so we didn't get to enjoy the space much. It was very clean, nice beds, kitchen, etc. Easily accessible with good parking. Really nicely located for enjoying Charleston!

great little place. We appreciated having separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Everything we needed was provided. It was clean, quiet, comfortable with creative decor. Host is very responsive and provided easy to follow instructions for check-in, check-out. The location is great and parking lot on premises. I would recommend this place.

The BEST VRBO in every way!

This place looked great in photos but in person EXCEEDED my expectations. The decor, amenities, and cleanliness were great. The location was convenient. The parking was private and plentiful. The professionally done white sheets and towels gave it a high end hotel feel with the benefit of a home. I could not have been happier !!!

Perfect for a quick trip to MUSC

I had surgery at MUSC so I was looking for something on the ground floor, and within close proximity to the hospital. I will say it’s definitely more than a five minute walk to the hospital, but a five minute drive is accurate. It was exactly what I needed and would recommend to others. Super cute, clean, and has a great vibe.

pretty but not practical

I thought it was clean and pretty but not idea for family’s with small children better for adults. Was in a super safe area and had good communication with management teams for issues. Only complaint is kitchen was missing many items also didn’t have anything to clean counters with since we didn’t have a sponge or cleaning products. Was overall good experience we had a long week coming in and out of the icu this place was so close

Girls trip.

Lovely place, very clean, nice kitchen with everything we needed and fun appliances, cute and modern. For a girls trip, the second bathroom and bedroom were a little challenging just because the space is small with no room for suitcases, bags, etc. showers were very clean with hot water but poor water pressure. Would be great for couple with young children. Hostess was attentive and quickly responded to questions. Easy, free parking.

Great location

Great location and walkable to everything! Property is clean and maintained. Coffee shop and a few great restaurants literally across the street or around the corner. Plenty of space for our family of four (two adults/two teenagers). A/C systems are a little wonky and parking spots are tight. Would recommend to others.

Pros: Great location. Short drive to all the major attractions- aquarium, Riverdogs, downtown, etc. Several restaurants and coffee shops are very close by. Great parking in an area where parking is scarce.Cons: The listing says the property has air conditioning, but it is not central AC. Each room has its own wall-mounted AC unit, and they simply cannot keep up with Charleston summer heat. There’s no AC in the bathrooms, so they stay humid. In fact, the whole apartment was steamy and humid and had a moldy smell over the course of our week there. We spent our first night washing all of the towels that were left folded on the beds because the towels were damp. The AC unit in the main bedroom was great - but that was the only cool room in the apartment. The living area/kitchen was consistently around 80 degrees in the afternoons and evenings and was very damp and humid. The week we were there was incredibly hot, but there’s clearly a problem when there’s that much humidity in a home. We did report this and they were responsive and sent someone to look at the AC unit, but they said it was working fine - it was just too hot outside. We’re from North FL, so we’re used to summer heat, but the humidity inside this apartment was very uncomfortable.

Charleston Rental

We absolutely loved this trendy and unique listing! Only had three minor complaints — the floor could have used a mopping, coffee would have been nice if provided (since filters and the machine were), and finally the door to the place doesn’t entirely seal all the way around, so the humidity seeped in (along with some stray mosquitos). Otherwise, perfect!

Trendy Place in Downtown Charleston

I stayed here with four of my girlfriends for my bachelorette party. It was very comfortable and spacious for us five girls, and we felt very safe walking to and from King Street. We were obsessed with the decor. Parking was available which was really rare for places downtown. The neighborhood was quiet but also offered a couple of close by restaurants if you don't want to go too far from the house. David was a great host and checked in on us occasionally throughout our stay. 10 out of 10 I would recommend and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Charleston.

Wonderful couple of days with great friends

Fabulous stay. Retro decor was pleasant surprise. Unit was very clean and unique. Very comfortable. In great area, very friendly and safe neighborhood. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars that we would not have discovered if not staying here. Especially enjoyed Fuel for drinks or casual dining. Had really nice dinner at Bistronomy by Nico, casual French cuisine. A number of other small restaurants in area that would love to come back and try. Looking forward to returning soon and will definitely stay here again. Really appreciate David’s help and checking on us throughout our stay. Another must to try is Henry’s across the street from the market.
