The staff were friendly and caring. We enjoyed our room, and the four poster bed was comfortable. We liked the area and its easy access to restaurants and shops. My husband and I would stay there again if we are able to visit London in the future.

The hotel is named after the early 20th century actress Ellen Terry, whose house it was. Clean and comfortable.

The hotel facilities are first class, true to their rating of a 5-star luxury hotel in central london. All places of interests like Oxford Street, Soho, Chinatown, Covent Garden, is within walking distance. The location is super busy but at the same is very quiet. Their staff are wonderfully warm and welcoming and they always try their best to make sure you have what you need or you know where you're heading. Truly impressive and impeccable services - rates are expensive but the services you get here is worth every penny.

Had a great stay - easy to get to tube and although the area directly around the hotel looks a bit rough I still felt safe and there was much going on within an easy walk.
