"The concept is novel and well executed. We were staying as part of a cycling tour down the Via Rhona, for which the location is perfect, with bespoke secure bike storage. The town is beautiful with lots of great restaurants, but I suggest you book ahead of time as they all get busy.
The one big challenge we had was checking in. Having booked via Hotels.com we were sent links to complete profiles for all guests. This was a pain, because we had cycled all day and desperately wanted to get...

"Location was very remote and you need to go by car to a restaurant. Unfortunately most restaurants are closed on sunday/monday and sometimea tuesdays especially during winter period. So no dinner when we came late in the afternoon. Breakfast was very nice. Next time I would choose for a hotel with dinner possibilties. "

"My husband and I stayed at the chateau for one evening with our small children. We explored the property after we arrived and put them down for bed before enjoying dinner by ourselves... one of the best meals we have ever had in our lives! "Excellent stay. I was only there one night unfortunately but after walking 10 km to watch the European cycling championships I was grateful for the very comfortable bed and excellent pillows. I had a great sleep😁. All of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and professional. Definitely hoping to return for a longer stay."

"It’s okay for one night. Away from restaurants and river. . No coffee or tea makings in the room. Thin pillow and bedding. Air conditioning didn’t work. Could not lower shades. Good shower and hot water. Staff was pleasant.
