"Mon compagnon et moi-même sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans la bulle. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Le menu du soir ainsi que le petit déjeuner (qui est inclu) étaient excellent et bien copieux. Nous avons pu profiter d’une nuit étoilée magique depuis le lit dans la bulle! La bulle est située au milieu d’une petite forêt réservée qu’à nous. Le lieu est très calme, paisible et situé dans une zone historique comportant de nombreux châteaux, qui bordent la route Richard Coeur de Lion. "

"What a lovely property and a lovely host! The property is tucked away just outside of Rochechouart, an old millhouse on a small stream. The property is as described with enough beds for a group of 9 people. The property has two living areas meaning there is enough space for everyone. Amenities wise the pool is excellent, heated enough to take away the chill, but still cool enough for those hot days. The table-tennis, boules and organ round out the non-electronic entertainment. The Plancha style BBQ is amazing, under cover right next to the stream with a large table. We ate evening meals there every night. Beds were comfy, kitchen's well equipped it was a great stay for our group and allowed everyone to chill out and relax!Claire is a great host. She lives on site, but other than saying hi and helping practice French language skills or attending to little needs here and there she doesn't encroach or interfere with your enjoyment. From the property it is a 5 min drive into the centre of Rochechouart where there are a couple of patisseries, a wonderful butcher and an Aldi and and an Intermarche. There is a trail up the hill from the property as well into town that you can walk in 10 mins.Would highly recommend!"

"The house was absolutely perfect, everything you needed was provided and the owner was lovely.We couldn’t of asked for a better stay, if you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay then would definitely recommend here. The work that went into restoring the barn was incredible and the views from the bedroom was incredible. Not only was the inside lovely, but also the outside area.We absolutely loved it 10/10 x"

"Découverte du Périgord Vert dans un lieu très calme, à l'intérieur d'une maison très agréable, dont la fraîcheur a été très appréciée par cet été caniculaire. Piscine hors sol dont l'eau était un peu fraîche mais compte tenu de la chaleur...Andrew et Mike discrets, disponibles et accueillants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour entourés des paons et du chat de la maison."

"L'endroit est calme, le logement était parfaitement propre et la propriété est dans son ensemble bien entretenue. Nous avons trouve une belle piscine commune, un grand jardin autour de la piscine, des équipements à disposition (barbecue, jeux pour enfants), un havre de paix pour satisfaire notre souhait de repos. Les enfants avaient une très belle chambre, les parents aussi. L'ensemble est fonctionnel et confortable. Il y a quelques défauts mineurs mais le rapport qualité prix est vraiment très bon. Durant cet été 2026, le confortable salon s'est révélé bien frais malgré le contexte caniculaire "exceptionnel".Le propriétaire de l'ensemble des gîtes est attentif et réactif, nous recommandons.Des commerces à 10mn en voiture, une belle campagne environnante, les étoiles la nuit..."
