I visited my sister in Farmer City and this is the only motel nearby. It is a very bare bones motel which sufficed since I only slept there. The rooms are extremely dated and the furniture is in poor condition. There was never anyone at the front desk any time I went in. The breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread and toaster, some prepackaged chocolate chip muffins, two types of cereal and a jug of milk. There was coffee, but only powdered creamer packets and splenda packets for it. I dug to the bottom of the bowl and found a few crusty sugar packets. The only positive thing I can say is that the beds were surprisingly comfortable and the hot water works. If you only plan to sleep and shower here, it's not the worst choice, but don't count on breakfast.

There is no beach. We wanted to stay where there was water to play in. This property says that it As a private beach. It is not any where near water. It is surrounded by houses. And roads. Not even a little creek to jump across.

You get what you pay for and then some lol

If you know what you’re getting into then stay here but if you don’t RUN, find another place or sleep in your car! Yellow old towels, dirty sheets, paper thin walls, you can hear the whole conversations in the other rooms. I can list so many things why I would never stay at this hotel so do your family a favor and stay at a clean hotel not this one.

Room was fine. Exactly what I paid for and exactly as advertised. Minor hiccup that two of the outlets didn't work. I could not plug in my laptop while sitting at the desk; I had to set up over by the TV or the bathroom. Check in confused me. I had a reservation months in advance and was already paid. I showed up, showed my ID and confirmation number, and then they couldn't seem to find whatever they needed. Language barrier prevented me from being able to understand what the problem was, and eventually the guy at the desk just talked on a cell phone to somebody else, also in a language I didn't understand, and then gave me a key. It left me wondering if they had lost my reservation and then just billed me a second time since I couldn't talk to them. Not really a problem; it all worked out. But with that much confusion, it would have been nice to know what was going on.

Liked the new renovations they have done but still needs more improvements made such as caulking, paint and update fixtures. Our shower was very difficult to pull up for the spray to come on. The beds we’re comfortable and it was acceptable place to stay but a little more effort to update would be great.
