We’ve just returned from a week at this property. It was a lovely property with everything you need. Location was fantastic. We would love to come back next Christmas.
I would recommend this apartment for anyone skiing at La Plagne. The property is just next to the Champagny cable car - you can access the entire ski area: we skied to all the La Plagne villages, and Les Coches valley. The apartment is modern, well-equipped to a high standard (e.g. pierre rade and washing machine) and the reception staff can help with everything, even ordering morning breads/croissants to the residence. The local Sherpa supermarket and restaurants/bars are only a few minutes walk. Free parking. Recommended!
L'appartement est parfait. Sa situation l'est tout autant pour ce qui est de l'accès à son domaine skiable.
Le village n'est en revanche pas très agréable avec des travaux à tous les carrefours (les artisans et entreprises privatisant les chaussées), des parkings à étage, des commerces vieillots et l'absence de voie pour la circulation piétonne.

We had a lovely time here. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and close to the centre of Champagny and the cable car. Good communication with the manager at all times. Absolutely faultless. Highly recommended, five star accommodation.

C’est la 2e fois que nous louons cet appartement, tout est parfait. La localisation, l’agencement, la propreté, la literie, tout est top. Et l’arrivée et départ en toute autonomie sont appréciables, avec les contacts faciles et rapides avec la conciergerie (merci Mathilde) si besoin.

Très bel appartement avec des prestations qualitatives. Le balcon avec vue sur Champagny et Couchevel au loin permet une détente absolue au son du torrent.
Très joli point de départ pour de nombreuses randonnées qui nous ont enchantés.
Les contacts avec la conciergerie et la propriétaire ont été très efficaces et appréciés.

Excellent séjour tout confort dans un appartement spacieux
Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans ce très bel appartement, spacieux et décoré avec goût. Tout est conforme à l'annonce, et les équipements (literie, ustensiles de cuisine, électroménager) sont de qualité. L'appartement est idéalement situé, au pied de la télécabine pour rejoindre les pistes et à quelques minutes à pieds de tous les commerces du village. Tout est accessible à pieds, comme la belle piscine municipale pour se détendre après le ski ou si la météo est maussade. L'arrivée et le départ ont été très faciles, et les contacts avec Mathilde sur place ont été impeccables. Les échanges avec la propriétaire ont été également très faciles, elle est a l'écoute et soucieuse du bien être de ses locataires. Bref, un séjour parfait en tout point, je recommande vivement cette location.
Pas de mauvaises surprises, tout est conforme à l'annonce. A 3 couples, tout le confort d'un logement bien équipé. Literie de qualité. Arrivée et départ bien pratiques avec Mathilde, la boite à clé aussi est très pratique quand les skieurs ne rentrent pas tous en même temps. Casier à skis chauffé bien agréable. Un véritable cocon pour un séjour très très agréable
Avec nos deux garçons de 11 et 13 ans , nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable d'une semaine en août, dans ce très bel appartement, tout à fait conforme aux photos. Neuf, très bien équipé (lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, four multi-fonctions, machine Nespresso, appareils à raclette, à fondue , ... ), décoré avec beaucoup de goût, il est situé à 5 min du centre ville, 2 minutes de la télécabine et de l'école de ski, Parking gratuit en bas de l'immeuble. C'était un véritable plaisir de rentrer de nos randonnées, nos sorties à la piscine, nos ballades dans Champagny et ses environs et de se reposer à l'appartement. Mention spéciale pour Danielle et Mathilde qui sont présentes à la réception pour nous accueillir avec le sourire le jour de notre arrivée , nous conseiller. A la réception, vous pouvez aussi acheter dosettes pour la machine à café, pastille pour le lave linge à l'unité, commander entre autre viennoiseries, pain ... pour votre petit déjeuner. Bref, pour un premier séjour à la montagne, nous sommes revenus enchantés, et notre hébergement y est pour beaucoup !

Best ski vacation in years!
Alan V. stayed in the apartment the week before we came and in his review he has done an excellent job describing the pleasures of the apartment and Champagy-en-Vanoise. I can agree with him in almost every respect. My one addition would be that you have to be a pretty good skier to attempt the red runs down to the valley. We chose the area because there were many blue runs, and we found these challenging enough. And, as much as we loved everything, it did not seem to be a good area to bring small children who are just learning to ski. For ourselves, older skiers (being over 75 I could ski for free!), it was fantastic, clearly the best ski vacation in years.
When looking for a ski area and apartment, one generally must read between the lines of the descriptions. You generally take these with a grain of salt and hope for the best. This is an unusual case in which the reality exceeded the descriptions and expectations. Alan has explained how wonderful the apartment was. The ski area was larger and better than expected. Several days we did not even both to crossover to the La Plagne side; there was plenty to do in Champagny-en-Vanoise. (If you want to cross over, there is all of the La Plagne area and the transfer to Les Arc!)
If you are not into downhill skiing, there are several runs set out in Champagny le Haut, which is worth a visit in itself. There are courses set out here for both cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. There is also a place to learn ice climbing. This area would also be wonderful for hiking in the summer.
. The final thing I would like to add is the contact with the reception desk and with the owner. The women at the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The contact with the owner.was very enjoyable. In short, this was the best ski vacation in years and "God willing and the creeks don't rise", we will be back.

Superb, sunny apartment overlooking gondola station and mountains next to village centre
We stayed here for New Year 2019 and will be going back. The apartment is in a newly built block next to the Champagny gondola. Champagny village is probably the nicest in the La Plagne ski area. It’s a genuine village with some wonderful old buildings and all the services, shops and restaurants required in a ski resort. It is an easy drive up from Moutiers compared to the La Plagne villages accessed from Aime. One unexpected feature is a magnificent public pool at the bottom of the village. Most private spas would fail to compete.
The apartment is situated above and next to the gondola station on the sunny side of the valley. If the snow is not great at the start or end of the season, the gondola goes right up into the heart of the domain where the snow is always good. The Rossa restaurant at the top of the gondola is great for crashing out at the end of a long day. The runs down from Verdon Sud and into the village are wonderful tree lined reds. The gondola is a great way for beginners or tired legs to get back.
The apartment itself is more spacious than any other 2 bed we’ve rented in France. The balcony is large and sunny. It has plenty of room for the table, chairs and hammock.
The bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable.
The kitchen is good, with a dual microwave/conventional oven, a dishwasher and a large fridge. There’s a washing machine; an essential for families. The sofa bed is surprisingly good quality, comfortable and easy to unfold.
The ski locker is a decent size and heated. Warm boots!
The only negative is that you must park in the free public car park. I was initially worried about this, but the spaces next to the building between the stream and the piste are good and most of the cars stay there all week, so there’s little danger of getting bashed.
In summary, we have been going to La Plagne and Les Arc for the last 15 to 20 years and this is probably the best apartment we’ve stayed in.
