Not a thing of beauty but very good in many ways

We have stayed several times before. The hotel looks in need of a refresh but staff and food make up for this and the location is idyllic

I have stayed in the hotel many times before. Its location and condition are excellent. The only problem we had were with a couple of the restaurant staff were incredibly rude and the service was awful.

Set beside the lake with marvellous views. The young team were all very efficient from the receptionist who greeted us to the restaurant team who served us a light dinner (we had lunch before arrival). Breakfast was also very good.

The hotel is in nice surroundings, the room was nice with lovely view and good bathroom, but the carpet in the room was dated and looked stained and dirty. There was no ironing facilities and no shower cups or shampoo. Not what you expected in four star hotel. The food in the restaurant was very nice but expensive. All experience was a very expensive hotel for what it was. Also be aware this hotel requires upfront payment and has no cancellation policy, the payment is being taking from your account immediately when you book the date on line.

The temperature in the room was freezing like in the freezer (10°) considering that outside were 20° and raining. Nobody in the hotel couldn't/wanted to deal with the aircon to change the temperature to a warmer one. Kept saying somebody will deal with, but nothing. Rang the reception 3 times and my husband went there once. You can't open the balcony door if you don't want to get suffocated by the neighbours who smoke in the balconies and all smoke is getting in your room. My question is: how can you make the difference between somebody smoking in the room or balcony when the balcony is half meter and a double window door is separating the balcony of the room. Once you open the balcony all the smoke is in the room, so sit in the room and open the balcony door! The breakfast is very, very limited and €17. No vegetables, no beans, no many options of sweets apart from pastry and pancakes. Room carpet/room dated

All tje other service was good but reception was not helpful. We asked couple times is there any recommondation for the Champagne manufacturer. Receptionist didnt know anything and after that I saw an ad that advertised that the hotel has a collaboration with a champagne manufacturer.
