## Logement Located in Chamonix, the apartment is elegant, bright and has two bedrooms with one double bed, a very small 'cabin' room with bunk beds (more suitable for children than adults), a shower room and a beautiful living room to relax after an intense day of skiing or summer. You'll have a lovely BALCONY with a sublime VIEW of the entire MONT BLANC range and the town of Chamonix. You will have a balcony which will be very appreciated in summer and in winter. You will have at your disposal to spend an excellent stay: Parking, Wifi, Hair dryer, Television, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Dryer, Coffee machine, Refrigerator, Vacuum cleaner, Microwave.
It is ideally located at 5 minutes walk from the Montenvers train station. You will be 20 minutes drive from the Carlaveyron Nature Reserve which is a water garden of streams, lakes, marshes, peat bogs and "gouilles". Take a trip to the Aiguille du Midi cable car (8 minutes by car). Impossible to miss: the Aiguille du Midi cable car is a trip to the summits of the Alps. Perched at 3800 m of altitude, the Aiguille du Midi already gives you vertigo. And above all, it is the starting point of an unforgettable meeting with the summit of Europe and the great thrill. Another activity that is not to be missed is to take the Montenvers train to the Mer de Glace. Located at more than 1900 m of altitude, you will reach one of the most mythical glaciers in the world.
You can also take the Mont-Blanc tramway (20 minutes by car). An old style train, which takes you to the Nid d'Aigle at 2380 m of altitude. Le Brévent (30 minutes by car) is a magnificent summit where we had the chance to ski. Located in front of the Mont-Blanc, from the top and in good weather, you have a breathtaking view on the whole chain and the city. We can only advise you to go up there. Moreover, once you are up there, you are at the starting point of superb hikes to lakes like the famous Lac Blanc. You will also have access to the Natural Reserve of Carlaveyron. From there, you will have a breathtaking view of the highest peaks in Europe. It is a route used by some mountaineers in order to climb the massif.
The area is very popular with locals and tourists, so don't hesitate to ask me for good addresses, I'll be happy to share my favorites with you! For your shopping, you will have a Super U and Drive at 2 minutes walk and the Sherpa Supermarket Chamonix at 1 minute.
You'll have a transport card for free travel on internal train routes between Servoz and Vallorcine, and reduced fares on Chamonix Bus urban shuttles (except Chamo'nuit Bus).

## Emplacement Famous ski resort, Chamonix is famous for its location at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe. Capital of mountaineering, Chamonix is much more than a resort: 10 ski areas make up its valley, an authentic and lively city center and many activities are offered in winter as well as in summer (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, magnificent spa facing Mont Blanc, hiking to high altitude lakes, mountain biking ...). Other tourist places are very popular: the Aiguille du Midi, starting point for the mythical Vallée Blanche, invites you to a unique experience at 3800m altitude, or the Chemin de Fer du Montenvers, leading to the Mer de Glace. The latter is a valley of glaciers 7.5 km long. Spectacular landscapes are to be discovered all year long.

My sons (17 and 18 years) and I spent 5 days in this cute apartment. It is perfectly situated only blocks from the train station and close to the restaurants and all activities. The accommodations were exactly as displayed in the listing. No surprises. A very clean apartment, no clutter, and a quiet building. Although the room with the bunk bed is tiny, my 18 year old was very comfortable and happy to have a little space of his own.
