Kitchen:
Recently renovated modern kitchen with brand new appliances: 5 burner gas cooktop and wonderful 90 cm Blanco oven, two great pantry areas including a pull out pantry, large brand new fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and soda stream. Kitchen comes with all cookware, dinnerware, glassware and a well stocked pantry with cooking ingredients, oils, vinegars and loads more.

Bathroom:
Newly renovated contemporary bathroom with deep bathtub and separate shower. The bathroom has lovely hot water and excellent water pressure.

Laundry: Brand new 8 kg washer and separate dryer, with hanging space, folding area and double washtubs.

Dog Friendly: We welcome your dog inside and outside of the house. Property is fully fenced.

We would love to share our country side home with you. Please treat and respect the home as it is your own:
- Absolutely no parties
- This is a very quiet neighbourhood so please respect our wonderful neighbours. Quiet time is from 11 pm.
- Clean the BBQ after each use
- Put used towels in laundry wire basket in each room.
- Please return the house in the original condition. You are responsible for any damage to the house.
- If you move anything, put it back where you found it please.

We love dogs and our house is dog friendly to responsible dog owners.
- Please cover the leather sofa with blanket provided
- Clean up after your dogs and pick up dog waste in the backyard.
- Clean up dog hair in the house, there is a vacuum cleaner provided.

Note there are security cameras on the perimeter of the property which will detect motion in the front and rear areas. There are no cameras inside the property.

Just What we needed
Accommodation exactly as described. Additional surprises in the availability of condiments, Plastic wrap etc. There was absolutely nothing we needed that we couldn’t find. We had a dog with us - she loved running around the garden. And even here the host was thoughtful with dog bowls and toys! Many vineyards near the property and some are also dog friendly. Mark communicated really well with us and was a thoughtful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A lovely return trip
This was our second stay at the flamingo house and it was just as lovely as the first stay. Check in was as easy as it can get. The property owner messages us to let us know the mulberry tree was in fruit and to help ourselves. The house was clean and tidy and despite having plenty of useful kitchen equipment and a good pantry could benefit from more cups/glasses. 5 mugs in a 6 sleeper house wasn’t quite sufficient. We would 100% come and stay here again and whilst we didn’t bring the dogs this time the large secure garden would have been perfect for them.

The house was great for couples who want to get away during the weekend. Excellent pet is friendly. It has a beautiful backyard which was very secure for our dogs. The house is very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is an amazing full kitchen equipped and supplied. The house is a perfect spot close to Hunter Valley Winery, Mark was an excellent, responsive host and very flexible for check-in time. Highly recommended for the weekend away. Lovely well equipped property with very responsive owner
A well-equipped property with everything that you need for a stay. Great deck area and large dog fenced garden. A very quiet street in Cessnock which was central to all Hunter valley wineries and activities. Mark was a responsive host who had thought of most things and given clear instructions. Would definitely recommend and come back sometime.
