I am terribly sorry this was your experience. Thanks to the amazing cleaner I had for the past 6 years I have always received 5 star reviews on the cleanliness of the house, so this review was a shock to me. As I mentioned in our phone call, being a small town I had been struggling to find a cleaner for about 6 months as my previous cleaners circumstances had changed and could not continue. When I did finally find one and all was going well her circumstances changed so she referred someone else to me whom they would each help one another out when needed. Well, it seems I was taken for a ride and I am so sorry that you had to experience this or anyone else that may of stayed with the cleanliness not being up to scratch. This matter has been attended to so anyone staying from now on can be guaranteed that the cleanliness will be of a high standard as it has been for the past 6 years.

Ken and I have spoken and I thank you Ken for your feedback. I very much appreciate it when guests let me know when something is damaged, leaking or not working properly. Sometimes you have to stay in the house to notice these things. I can then organise for the issue to be rectified asap. Thank you. Oops, sorry about the gas lighter. There is usually a box of matches in the pantry just in case that happens. This house is a great location for children, with the beach and a playground over the road. These are holidays your grandchildren will always remember and talk about.

Good point, thank you and I will get on to that. As my children grew up there they knew to stay away but I can see it would be fascination for others. You would of loved the park over the road with your little one and maybe some of the toys in the cupboard.

It's a great little place to stay with children with the beach and playground over the road and plenty of board games to play or books to read. Also great for the adults with the cafe next to the playground and a nice view from the front veranda while you relax with a morning cuppa or afternoon drink as the sunsets.

I agree, it is a great little family home with lots to do with so much within walking distance and some good board games to have a laugh and connect with family.

I am so glad you ALL enjoyed yourselves and were able to relax and feel like you've had a break even though you had the kids and they also had a great time. I love that beach shack feel ;)

When I go away there is always something that I forget or didn't realise I would need so I try to have that covered for those that might be a bit like me. It was a pleasure having you as a guest.

That's the great thing about staying on the coast; you can utilise the sea breeze to cool the house down along with the fans throughout the house or pop across the road for a swim.

It is indeed a great location and not having to drive everywhere gives the town a more relaxed feel. Great the young ones were able to get out and burn off some energy even though it was raining outside.

I'm sorry you felt that way. Yes, the house is a 35 year old beach shack and has been modernised in that time and is very clean. It is as in the photo's. Sorry about the mouse but I'm unable to control where or when the poor little fella was going to die.

Thankyou. It is a very comfortable home in an ideal location it is unfortunate that we had an exceptionally hot summer this year. Usually you can get by with opening up the front of the house and letting the sea breeze cool the house down. Not sure what happened about the phone reception. I don't have Telstra and have never had a problem. There is a woodfire heater for you to enjoy with wood supplied if you would like a winter getaway next time.
