Le Mas Soubiranne is an ideal place to spend a peaceful and serene holiday. Exceptional view of the Canigou with unforgettable sunsets. Surrounded by large parks shaded by lime trees and centuries-old chestnut trees, nature lovers will be won over.
    The house is located 20 minutes (8 km) by car from the city center, around 40 km from the seaside and Perpignan, and near the Spanish border.


    ACCESS by car:
    A9, exit 43 le Boulou, last exit in France, follow CERET.
    In the city center, follow the direction Fontfrède- las Illas- Hotel LA TERRASSE AU SOLEIL, D13.
    Go up the sometimes winding road for 8 km from Céret (20 minutes). MAS SOUBIRANNE is on the right on the road.

Peaceful place with a view

What a beautiful old French house in beautiful surroundings and with a fantastic view. The pool was perfect. It's up the hill, 20 min drive from Ceret, a very nice village (market on Saturday morning). The house has a beautiful balcony for long, warm and lazy summer nights. The house is old and full of ambiance, it creaks and works in the heat and the night. The wellcome by Brigitte and Jaques was very warm.We had a very pleasant stay. Recommended for family/friends gathering in the warmth with wine

Tranquility

Lovely old house, equipped with all that you will need for a fabulous holiday. The location is unparalleled and the view will "knock your socks off". The house makes it easy to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you be it stormy, wet, warm or hot and the lovely pool provides a great morning and afternoon refreshing dip. Brigitte and Jacques were wonderfully welcoming hosts and we chuckled every time we heard Olga the donkey calling to her friends deep in the valley below. Fabulous.

A dream come true

We were fortunate enough to stay in this paradise for 2 whole months. The large stone house is set in massive, established gardens and terraces, overlooking the mountains ( and most prominently, the famous and magnificent Canigou, which changed by the hour), with a huge pool sharing the same views. Brigitte has decorated the house in chic, soft white, highlighting antiques, fabrics, objets d'arts, including many original paintings, some by artist/owner Jacques. It was truly gorgeous. I was able to gather wildflowers and those from the 3 huge gardens such that the house was full of flowers. The property is about 15 minutes up a windy road ( past a goat herd which is variously on the road and up a tree) and so is remote, quiet, truly in nature. The best mountain walks and treks I've ever been on are just up the hill, some over into Spain, along escarpments and with 360 degree views. Brigitte and Jacques are wonderful people; warm, friendly, not intrusive but always helpful. Jacques drove for an hour and searched through the mountains at night when I got lost... We are continuing our rental in Mas Soubiranne and the CapdeVilles. It was heaven!

prachtig huis op unieke locatie

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad. Het huis is erg fijn, misschien iets gehorig en het zitcomfort in de huiskamer niet helemaal perfect maar wij hadden prachtig weer en zijn amper binnen geweest. Het huis is super sfeervol en het terras echt geweldig! Elke avond prachtige zonsondergangen. Het zwembad is heerlijk, licht gezout water! Het ligt wel afgelegen, kost minstens 15 minuten met de auto om in het stadje te komen. Wij vonden dat juist heel fijn omdat het zo rustig is. Enorm aardige verhuurders!

Maison et environnement pleins de charme

Maison de caractère aménagée avec goût, située au bout d’une jolie allée la séparant de la route. Vues magnifiques. Belle piscine très agréable. Plutôt loin de tout, avec peu de choses à visiter à proximité, mais c’est le prix de la tranquillité et c’est ce que nous recherchions. Nous avons savouré!

C’était une semaine en famille incroyable! Si on aime la nature et les vues à couper le souffle, c’est l’endroit idéal. Un havre de paix et de tranquillité au milieu d’une nature exceptionnelle! Très belle maison dans cadre exceptionnel

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine chez Brigitte et Jacques. La maison est belle, spacieuse et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine est très agréable. La propriété est située dans un cadre exceptionnel (d'une grande beauté, très calme), à une quinzaine de minutes (route de montagne) de la charmante petite ville de Céret. Un lieu exceptionnel

Nous avons partagé en famille un temps précieux dans un cadre naturel préservé. La tranquillité est absolue et la maison située dans un parc peuplé d’arbres centenaires offre une vue exceptionnelle notamment sur le Canigou. Les randonnées ou les balades vous emmènent en Espagne, toute proche. Un petit oiseau, toujours le même, s’invite à la table du petit déjeuner et n’hésite pas à se poser sur le genou du vacancier alangui dans une chaise longue. La décoration de la maison a été pensée avec beaucoup de goût et chaque objet semble avoir été choisi avec soin par Brigitte, la propriétaire aussi charmante que discrète. Les murs reçoivent quelques-unes des peintures originales de Jacques, qui vous laisse entrevoir un instant, l’espace de son univers... Hélène

Juste parfait!

Un petit coin de paradis! J'ai passé un séjour vraiment ressourçant et très agréable en famille! La location était propre et très bien entretenue ( la jolie maison aux volets verts, les parcs autour et la piscine). Les propriétaires sont discrets, présents pour toute demande, et aussi agréables que la location qu'ils proposent. Le lieu est vraiment très apaisant, au calme, et avec beaucoup de charme. Les randonnées dans les alentours sont extras. Céret est une très jolie ville qui gagne à être connue. L'Espagne n'est pas bien loin aussi!! Le littoral et ses belles plages aussi! Les activités aux alentours peuvent être si variées! A recommander ++ que ce soit en famille (même avec des enfants en bas âges), entres amis ou en couple…Nous y reviendrons, c'est sûr!

Charmante maison perdue dans la montagne

Après une vingtaine de minutes depuis Céret sur une petite route de montagne, on arrive dans ce petit coin perdu...Alors, bien évidemment, mieux vaut ne pas oublier le pain, mais si vous recherchez la tranquillité, vous ne serez pas déçu. La maison est charmante et conforme aux photos, les extérieurs sont très agréables. La belle piscine est chauffée ce qui permet de bien en profiter. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, attentifs sans être intrusifs. Ils habitent à côté mais cela n'est pas gênant. Il y a plusieurs sentiers de randonnée à proximité dont certains sont accessibles à pied directement depuis le mas. Seuls petits bémols : le confort de la literie peut être un peu juste pour des personnes sensibles du dos et certaines portes de chambre ne ferment pas très bien mais les propriétaires ont l'intention de faire des travaux prochainement pour régler ce point.
