Breakfast plentiful and freshly prepared, loved the warm freshly baked croissant. A great overnight stay and will be back on our way home!"

"Nice, comfortable apt. In a great location. Beach just around the corner. Even took a swim in the somewhat cold water but nice when 75 degrees. Watched the sunset each evening from the promenade. Great location to visit nearby basque villages and cities in both France and Spain. Parking garage was a plus if you’re driving. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The owner of Hotel Les Goelands is a gem of a person. Although we had a bit of a problem checking-in, he more than made up for our inconvenience with his conscientious, affable and charming personality. Hotel Les Goelands is a lovingly operated family business that has been in existence for 90 years. We enjoyed having "Grandmother's Special Cake" for dessert on the evening we had dinner in the dining room. Delicious! The breakfasts at the hotel were also very tasty. Hotel Les Goelands is indeed, a very special place, only a short walk away from the center of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. In town, be sure not to miss the Mercado Les Halles St-Jean-de-Luz and the simple, but wonderful oyster bar in the building. Market days vary according to the season, so check before you go. "Excellent stay overall. Small boutique hotel in town, friendly and helpful staff, especially Julien at the reception. Excellent location walking distance to beach and restaurants, stores, and bakeries. Definitely would return."
