English Inn of Charlottesville

"We had a really nice stay at the English Inn in Charlottesville! The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, and overall we really enjoyed our experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The people working in the breakfast room were absolutely great—very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel comfortable every morning and added such a nice personal touch to our stay. The friendly service was definitely appreciated! The only disappointment was the pool. I was really looking forward to enjoying it with my son, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to use it because the pool was very dirty and did not appear to be properly cleaned. That was disappointing, especially when traveling with a child and looking forward to using the hotel amenities. Aside from the pool issue, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely consider staying here again. I just hope management gives the pool more attention and makes sure it is properly cleaned and maintained for guests, because that would have made our stay even better!"

"Place is quiet and staff was helpful. Didn’t know that breakfast wasn’t included because the last time we stayed at a Holiday Inn it was included . Next time I will know what is available before choosing my accommodations and not assume. Thanks."

"Everything within the hotel was very good, our only problem, for us was a big one, my wife and I were travelling on motorcycles, the hotel operates a valet parking system only. They have nowhere to park motorcycles, eventually we were allowed to park our bikes in a corner of the loading dock and we're still charged a valet parking fee. Really not happy with this."
