"We typically stay in name brand hotels when visiting family in the Gettysburg area, but we decided to give downtown a try this trip. We did not regret it. The hotel is lovely and so, so convenient. It was great being in the center of the action! We will choose Hotel Gettysburg over the chains when we visit in future."

"Received an upgraded room upon check-in, very nice. Accommodations and the facility were cleaned and modern. Best priced hotel of all other comparable ones in the area. Very pleased and would certainly reserve again."

"The staff is very friendly however, this hotel is a bit run down to to be a Holiday Inn. This is probably one of their dirtiest locations."

"Our room had a terrible musty odor, and it was very warm. The air conditioner worked well to cool it off, but was so loud we could not sleep so we had to shut it off. The couch and chair in the room were rather uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent, fair amount of choices. Check in and check out was easy."
