I have stayed at the Grano del Oro on numerous occasions and it’s always a five stars experience. The hotel, an old Spanish mansion with gorgeous woodwork and appointments, is beautiful. The staff are incredible and helpful also. Marco and the front desk staff are great, and don’t miss Carlos at the beautiful bar. The restaurant is excellent and has added some creative touches to its menu in addition. A must stay in San Jose!
