Best Western Terminus Hotel

"Best Western Terminus is a pretty decent hotel, and I would recommend to others. The staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish. I had questions about getting around the city and different sites, and they were quick to provide guidance about the city. My room was cozy and free of issues for the most part. Daily housekeeping was good. The breakfast buffet was edible, having a bit of variety for everyone. I wasn’t crazy about the outside location and area, which was not far from the bus station; however, I felt safe within the hotel and immediate area."

"1-It’s a great hotel. I would rate it as excellent 4 stars. As it’s not 5 starts by all accounts. 2- The location is excellent in the heart of the city and in walking distance to all attractions. 3-It’s very clean and smells really nice everywhere(rooms and communal spaces) 4- The breakfast is so basic and it’s not worth the 22€. 5- With regards to the staff( 2 male receptionist are so unhelpful and one of them is so grumpy and he wouldn’t even smile at the guest upon arrival) there was a noise nuisance (celebration of students graduation) they were beating loud drums at the door of the hotel and many guests complained about it as we couldn’t sleep for 2 days out of the 3 days stayed. The response from the receptionist was so poor and defensive, that they can’t do anything about it. I would say it’s an isolated incident as the rest of the staff are friendly."

"I was deeply disappointed with my stay. First, I didn’t receive the room I paid for. I was placed in a poorly maintained room and couldn't get any sleep. Despite my complaints, staff only moved me to a different room at midnight, which made the experience even worse at midnight to move all l luggage’s without any help from the reception staff . I definitely won't be returning to this place and cannot recommend it to anyone!"

"This was our third time staying at the Rosslyn Thracia, and we will probably stay somewhere else the next time. Overall, it's a decent value for the money, but it's time for the owners to put some money into upgrading the hotel. We stayed in one of the suites, and the bathtub leaked a little bit onto the bathroom floor. There was also some leakage or moisture underneath the carpet coming out of the bathroom. And, even though there was a no smoking policy, there were traces of smoke smells in the furniture and linens. The hotel also now charges 15 Euro per person daily for breakfast, and it used to be included in the rate. I will say that the hotel is located in a great location, and the staff was friendly by Bulgarian standards. Our room was very big; was surrounded by windows, and located on the top level with a very nice view of the rooftops of Sofia. It was a decent value, but it's time to make a few upgrades."
