Large Stunning Cottage - Beach access to beautiful Lake Huron

Welcome to Nature's Cottage. Nature's Chalet Style Cedar cottage is a one of a kind.

This Beautiful spacious 2,750 sq ft back lot Cottage has 4 inviting bedrooms as well as a pull out sectional sofa with 2.5 bathrooms and a large chef's kitchen as well as a bar in the basement and an open concept kitchen/living room and dining room.

This beautiful property has 2 separate beach fronts 100 meters either side. 5 minute drive from downtown Bayfield with all the shops and 15 minute drive to Goderich. Enjoy our updated 1200 sq ft deck that wraps around the cottage. Sunroom is also there in case you just want some shade. Or feel free to enjoy the Central Air Conditioning in the house on the really hot days.

Beautiful firepit in back yard after a day in the sun. Sit around a beautiful campfire and listen to your favorite music.

Beautiful custom built dining table fits 10 people, although I only have 8 chairs so the guests are extremely comfortable. The kitchen island located behind the dining table has 4 bar stools that is perfect while cooking or just as an extra place in case you do need to feed more than 10 people.

Free wifi is included in the home.

55" TV in the basement with cable to watch your favorite shows live or on demand.

Tassimo and Kreurig coffee machine is on site.

Games for kids all ages includes: Monopoly, Risk, Settlers of Catan, dominos, cards, magic the gathering, and many more.

Bedroom 1 - Upstairs ensuite with King Size bed, full bath, small seating area.

Bedroom 2 - Main Floor Queen bed with closet, Night Table and dresser.

Bedroom 3 - Main Floor Twin bed on the one wall. Bunk bed with Twin over Twin on the other wall. Closet and drawers in the bunk bed drawers.

Bedroom 4 - Lower level bedroom with Queen Bed and 2 night stands.

Additional pull out sectional sofa is available in the basement in case you need additional room.

Guest will have full and exclusive use of the entire home as well as the front and back yards as well as access to the beach fronts.

The cottage is situated along the shores of Lake Huron, where the coastline includes some elevated areas that provide stunning panoramic views of the lake. To access the lake, there is a staircase with 100 steps, along with another entry point via crown land.

Enjoyed watching the chipmunk play in the wood pile and the red squirrel running down the wraparound deck! Wonderful huge fenced bkyd. Great selection of games and kitchen amenities.

Beautiful home

Property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Huge fenced yard was perfect for the dog and two little kids to run around. The beach is accessible by 104 steps. Was not realistic for the little kids or the dog or for fishing. If you want a quiet get away, this home is perfect

Wonderful location, EXCELLENT SERVICE

This is a fabulous property. Quiet, lots of space, view of the lake. The screened in porch is fabulous. We are a group of 4 sisters. The property manager George is amazing. Contacted him early in morning with an issue and he responded IMMEDIATELY and had someone there it fix the problem later that morning. Communication was excellent. George did everything he could do to make it right. We are return guests and I would highly recommend this property.

Family summer vacation 2024

We stayed for a week with 8 adults and 2 grand children. Lots of room for us. Beautiful view of the lake from the front living room and a screened in porch at the back. We enjoyed the fenced yard for my sons dog, and the fire pit was a big hit at night. About a 5 minute walk to stairs leading to the beach The weather was not very cooperative for us, however, we still got 2 days to enjoy the beach. There is a nice gas b.b.q on the deck. The host was quick to respond to afew questions we had. Definitely will be back. We had a great time.

Large cottage in a quiet area

Overall, our family had a nice time in the area. The cottage is close to Bayfield and in a quiet neighborhood. We did have a few issues during our stay, but they were addressed quickly by the host. I do not believe in giving blanket 5/5 stars, as I don't believe that helps future guests of the platform. If you are looking for a large cottage with fenced in backyard, this is suitable. However, we decided to go with 4/5 stars as the cottage has lots of wear and tear and access to the beach is 100+ stairs (or narrow and steep forest path) which is difficult for any mobility issues / young children.

My Bulldog Gives 5 Stars!

This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home.

My cousins (female age 55-79) meet annually for a fun weekend together and this cottage was perfect! We had lots of room to spread out, there was even room for all ten of us to do yoga inthe living room! Overall it was VERY well equipped, clean, quiet and true to the AD description. May I suggest the basement sofa bed could be replaced. This cottage is EXCELLENT and we highly recommend. Thankyou George!

We had a great time staying at this cottage! It was the perfect layout for our two families. Although it was a short walk to the beach, it was a lovely beach! We loved the fenced in backyard for playing with our small children and dog. Unfortunately, we learned after check in that drinking water is not provided and we were required to bring our own.
