"Staff was friendly, beds were adequate and linen clean. Breakfast was good. However, there were some issues with one being a major problem. There was someone’s clothing hanging on bathroom door when we checked in. Not a big deal but tells me the cleaning was not adequate, food from previous guest was left in microwave, there was what appeared to be dried blood in one spot on bathroom vanity. Lastly, the smoke detector had a plastic bag over it and was clearly tampered with. Unfortunately, we had not noticed until last day. On our check out, I showed pictures to the front desk attendant to which she said she’d take money off our bill and also stated “the last occupants of our room were arrested”. So, someone got arrested and it did not occur to them to scrutinize the room a little more closely? Me and my daughter slept in a room with no fire detection. This hotel had a major safety violation and should not carry the Holiday Inn brand. Will never stay there again."

"We had a wonderful time in The Villages and this home was very close to Spanish Springs town square. It was the perfect time of year to visit. The house was very clean. The mattress was great in the primary bedroom and the shower was perfect. It was great to have the golf cart to get around as well. The hosts were very responsive in any communications. "
