"The staff was helpful and respectful. My only concern was the time frame for swimming in beach. 9am to 6:30 is not nearly enough time. Some people enjoy an early swim and others a bit later . Maybe consider 2 different shifts."

"We had a great stay at the RIU Ventura, the resort was very clean , food was great,the people working there were friendly and helpful. We went there with 15 people ,we all stayed healthy. I do wish the shows were earlier and geared more for kids. Although we were there during the World Cup so that may have changed the entertainment schedule."

"Beautiful hotel, staff and room were great. Complementary buffet breakfast rivalled a 5-star resort. A bit pricey at hotel bars and restaurant but that is to be expected in a down-town premium hotel. I would definitely stay again."

"The staff are the clear standout part of this resort. Easily the most attentive and pleasant staff I’ve had while at an all inclusive. Hugo & Alba at the pool were both excellent, constantly checking up on my wife and I. Feliciano & Ivan at the Blue bar in the main pool were excellent as well. The food was by far the best we’ve had at an all inclusive as well. Chez Isabelle & Basmati were stand outs for us. The drawbacks that my wife and I both had were the cleanliness of sections of the pool. There was people constantly cleaning the tiles in the pool however it seemed at this point the pool itself needed to be completely remodeled in our opinion with the tiles having a clear water line upon them. Not sure also if the bottom of the pool was being cleaned properly in some sections with there being some sections where there was build up of some sort of purple/grey substance that would float around the bottom of the pool. Last draw back, the beach itself is nice… however the build up and smell of the seaweed is unmistakable. Also I think we went during peak seaweed time but still the smell was overbearing at times. I’d like to finish with saying we thoroughly enjoyed our time overall due to the staff, and the food selections. The staff does truly go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you have a great experience."
