"The house was idyllic, and our host was so amiable. Also, we really enjoyed the on-site hot tub and relaxing private deck. We would definitely stay here again!"

The Berry Hill Resort & Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"This was our second stay at the Resort. It was just as great as the first time. People are friendly, great Darby's Tavern makes you feel like you are in the era. The mansion is very interesting to look around in and the grounds are fabulous. Last butnot least, the staff are friendly and aim to please! We really do recommend a stay, especially if you want to relax and just chill!"
Franks Place-a beautiful 3 BR farm house retreat space with an in ground pool.
10/10 Excellent
"If you are looking for a vacation away from it all, Frank's is your place. But, no worries, if you need to run to CVS or food (grocery or fast food), it's a 15-minute ride.We needed a quiet getaway and that's just what we got. And, I got to swim everyday!!! Super plus!!! The inside and outside are decorated nicely, very comfortable. We enjoyed lounging by the pool during swim breaks and in front of the large TV in the living room, catching up on some movies. We cooked a few times, lunch and dinner. The kitchen was fully stocked; we did bring our own seasonings and condiments.Being from DC, seeing deer is common; but we also saw a lizard, something that looked like a wild turkey, a frog and a grasshopper, all hanging with us by the pool. A great stay and I am looking forward to visiting again."
"Everything was very good about our stay. My only issue was with the pool. It did not have a ladder that reached to the bottom. It stopped short about 10 feet. So I needed help in order to get into the pool. Also it was worst trying to get out because there was nothing to pull myself up with. "
"Enjoyed this place...rustic but has lots of great views, comfort and places to chill. Dog friendly, too but don't trust GPS. Go right at dumpster...not left and don't turn on Stuckornot Rd! Honestly, I hated to leave...and the OBX us my home! LolIf you enjoy a woodsy escape, this is your place."
Charming 4-bedroom 3-bath house on beautiful Hyco Lake with boat dock.
10/10 Excellent
"This home had so many thoughtful touches! The host really went out of the way to make sure it is stocked with helpful items that you may need while visiting. The home is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the setting was quiet and peaceful. You should stay here!"
