"Delightful bed and breakfast with beautifully appointed decor, featuring well chosen antiques and comfortable furniture. Our room was large and airy with king sized canopy bed and very large screen tv. We enjoyed a full breakfast in the morning with a couple of other guests. In all, a very pleasant experience."

"Uniquely clean and well maintained. Linens and towels were spotlessly white. Their complimentary breakfast did not miss any item. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. One of our guest had by mistake left their valuables as well as their passports in the room locker after checkout. When we informed them about it they reassured us that it would be there at the front desk and we picked it up after our 3 hour boat cruise all intact. "
"Before you judge the accommodations, keep in mind this historic hotel was built as a family home/farm in the 1800's. If you are looking for luxury accommodations then this is not for you, and if the room is the most important thing then you are truly missing the point of what this area has to offer. The rooms face the most beautiful lake and in the morning a homemade breakfast with your coffee and take it all in, look at the lock and watch as boats make their way....the hosts Jeff and Core are amazing and are every day working to make improvements to the property. You have a real feeling of family. enjoy the Sunday Brunch on the porch facing the lake or take a stroll with an ice cream from the on site snack bar. We truly enjoyed our stay and will return. The bed was super comfy, if you are looking for a super powerful and hot shower you may be out of luck, remember where you are! Small price to pay for everything else that was fabulous. I you are lucky enough to be greeted by the most loving Golden Retriever, powow give her a pet and puppy kiss for me!"
