"Right on the beach - nothing beats that. Catch the sunrise on the beach before the tourists visiting the national park enters, and stay after sunset...For the price, the room was clean and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. The shared bathrooms and showers are kept quite clean.

"The place was beautiful, simple and clean.
The direct ocean view was breathtaking. The staff was great.
The room was spacious and clean.
It could definitely get an update with some minor things.
The only thing to note is that to get there the road is pretty bad, it’s not the hotels fault but a heads up would be nice.
The pool could be cleaner and the beach there and around was full of trash and it was heartbreaking. "

"The Bespoke was the perfect place for us to relax and disconnect for our stay! The apartment was well appointed and super spacious. The kitchen was well supplied for a vacation rental, which made it so easy to cook most of our meals. Located right on the beach, the beach area was clean and private, it never got too noisy or crowded and there were always available loungers. Location was superb, just be aware that the road off the highway is a dirt road and riddled with potholes! Otherwise the location was close to the ruins, supermarkets and the town of Tulum, great for a true getaway! "

"Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We loved the pool and ocean access, and lounging on the beach. The staff at Casa Altamar were the best we met on our 2 week trip to Mexico. They were so kind, accommodating and thoughtful.
Tulum is a unique destination, with different "zones," each with their own vibe. Casa Altamar is north of the town center and "party" beach area. That means you get a quiet and secluded beach (huge plus!) It is a 15min drive to town if you want to explore other parts of Tulum and there are only a few restaurant options nearby, though the hotel's own restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced for the area. It isn't a sandy entry-point beach but the water is beautiful to swim in, they provide snorkels, paddleboards and kayaks. "
