"Great week, lovely villa. Spent all the time outside by the pool or round the table, spending quality time together over food with lovely local wine. Highly recommend."

"The house was very well equipped and a great set-up for us. We used all the seating areas, the pool, the grassy garden with the adirondack chairs, the picnic table, the patio table right outside the kitchen. It was so fun. We all enjoyed it so much. The location was ideal! We rented E-Bikes from Libery-Cycle which were awesome. We rode all over the Dordogne Valley on the bike trails. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family. "I was expecting a great house based on all of the other reviews, but even they did not do it justice. What a superb home, with a billion euro view! A true 500 year old house with 21st century comforts. Thank you Vincent for sharing Mont Joie. And thank you Martine for all you do. We are sure to return to this wonderful area and house!"

"Accueil très chaleureux, nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, nous avons pu découvrir le charme de leur petit hameau. Très bel endroit si on cherche du calme entouré de nature (grands espaces, vaches, une belle vue le matin) tout en disposant de services de proximité à 10 mn en voiture. Le coin piscine est très agréable, la maison propre et tout à disposition. Une adresse à découvrir !"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the IBIS Sarlat. The staff went out of their way to make you feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful making suggestions on places to visit to make your stay memorable. When there was a problem with the TV, in the room, the staff did their utmost to repair it. When they realised they would have to call someone in, to solve the problem, they immediately arranged a move to a much larger room and helped transfer clothing/other possessions. They were like breath of fresh air and are a credit to the hotel chain. The room was also exceptionally clean which was a real treat to see. If only other hotels were like this. The other great thing is the hotel is located directly opposite from one of the better restaurants, in the town, and is only a 10 min stroll to the medieval town centre which is beautiful to walk around. "
