"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "Excellent stay only 20 mins drive from the historic town of Guimaraes. We had a beautiful double room with a fantasic view down into the valley. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast includes fresh orange juice from the orange trees in the garden. Claudino is very generous with his time and knowledge. "

"The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!"

"Where to start? What a special place. We felt so welcome and the welcome drink and charcuterie were splendid. We enjoyed chatting with the owner Fernando who acquired, renovated and expanded over 15 years. It is a truly special place. Fernando offers a limited menu of local items and fresh produce from the gardens. The pool.is glorious. You can walk down to the river for a swim, stroll the vineyards or just enjoy the various terraces.I could go on and on. Book your stay for at least a couple of nights and just relax! There's no AC, but you won't need it. wifi is spotty so turn off your device. If you really need it you can get online easily. Enjoy Fernando's creation! Oh, breakfast is fabulous with juices and condiments made from the produce grown on the property."
