Cedar Park Travel Guide

Tourist Guide

A highway overpass with a white truck driving under it.
A wall with silhouettes of animals, including a horse, a cow, and a goat.
A memorial with a statue, a flag, and a monument on a grassy hill.

We’ll bet our boots, as they say in the Lone Star State, that you’ve never heard of Cedar Park. This suburb is just far enough from Downtown Austin to fly under the tourist radar.

Many an executive of nearby tech companies, such as Dell and Samsung, calls Cedar Park home. The area’s Twin Creeks community has a lavish private country club with golf course. Cedar Park’s massive centuries-old oak tree on Quest Parkway is decorated with lights each December, adding a touch of magic. The H-E-B Centre is home to the Texas Stars and Austin Spurs.
