Cedar Falls Gem: Vintage Home With Modern Comforts Near Historic Downtown!

Restoration & major renovations were just completed on this quaint classic, built in 1898. Walking distance to downtown and just 2 blocks from Washington Park (bike trails, fishing, playground & kayaking). Plenty of free parking across the street along with full use of garage. The back yard was just fenced in for your furry friends. Along with free wifi, the house is hardwired for internet (3 rooms have wall jacks). The smart thermostat is a breeze to set manually OR use your phone.

The interior was designed around creature comforts. The living room offers powered leather recliners for 3 and a 55" TV. The dining room seats 6. The kitchen is huge! The main level bedroom has a memory foam queen, office space, remote fan, TV and opens to a full bath with soaker tub. The vaulted master suite has king bed, 43" TV, work space, stackable w/d, dual vanity & rain shower. But the coolest space is the loft at the top of the stairs. It's complete with 2 twin beds, bean bag chairs & TV. Kids dig it! There's also a sunroom off the dining room.

Loved the property and it's location close to downtown. The upstairs shower ruled. Would have been a better spot for someone with kids as two of the beds are children's size.

Charming home

This older home has been remodeled beautifully. It was stocked with toiletries and everything was well labeled. It was a quiet neighborhood near a park. We will definitely stay there again and we highly recommend it. Plus, a fenced in yard for our dog was an added bonus.

We had a great stay. We were in town visiting our daughter who's a student at UNI. House was wonderful! Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Had all the kitchen essentials and amenities. Loved having a fenced in yard for our little dog. Only thing we were missing was a grill for outdoor cooking.

Wonderfull clean and renovated 19th century bungalow. Super clean, great master bedroom and bath with comfy mattress. Petfect location, close to downtown Cedar Falls. Single downside was the tiny loft with tiny beds low ceiling. Good for kids only.

Beautiful home

This home is immaculate and well-stocked. It is beautiful and in a convenient location to Main Street. We walked everywhere. The home is so well-decorated and all of the light switches and cupboards are labeled - so thoughtful! It has a cute front porch and is in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable too. We didn’t use the small room but it was perfect for children! Thank you for an enjoyable stay! We would definitely stay again!

Super clean. Had everything we could possibly need (maybe extra seating in the living room). Amazingly decorated! Close to everything! Very dog friendly - our 2 Corgis loved it.Our granddaughter is a Freshman at UNI. We were here for a swim meet. We will definitely book again. Thanks for sharing this lovely home.

Perfect for our needs

Very clean and everything we needed. Walk to a French bakery or a Cafe for breakfast and walk to a brewery or restaurant in the evening. You also have the Cedar River with in walking distance. You can hear the power plant that’s close by at night. It quickly becomes slight background noise.

A beautiful property

We rented this for a pastor friend and it was just what they needed. Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of coffee shops, a nice backyard, and lots of space to relax.
