"We had a great time on our honeymoon here! Staff were very kind and welcoming. Have to give a special shout out to Jack, Kevin, and Brittany they were great. Solid food and drinks as well. "Great stay, we're not divers but loved the location. Staff was helpful booking excursions for us at Anthony's Key for dolphins, glass bottom boat tour and more. Quaint little beach access away from the strip of hotels but within a 3-4 min walk of the main beach area as well. Airport shuttle back and forth was great and prompt. All in all great stay!"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful with our last-minute check-in. They communicated quickly via WhatsApp to coordinate shuttle services and provided a welcome drink ticket and free breakfast. The room was very nice, and the amenities suited our needs well. The only downside was that the bed had a little sand on it and a hair on the pillow before we got into it. It is understandable, being near a beach, but I took off one star for cleanliness because of that. Otherwise, the pool was gorgeous, with easy access to the ocean, the pier, and several other resorts, restaurants, and the market. I would stay here again!"

"We loved our stay at Puerta Azul. They have their own dock to start snorkeling and kayaking from, as well as boat pickups of you prefer tours to reach farther destinations. Breakfast onsite was great with a weekly rotating menu. One thing to note is that the onsite restaurant is the only convenient but expensive option for lunch and dinner. The main road is not comfortably walkable, although we did do it a few nights for more variety. The front desk can also call taxis for you. The reef outside had some amazing snorkeling and was the highlight of the stay. We saw an octopus, 2 types of rays, jellyfish, squid, and countless fish species over the span of 5 days. Very few other hotels have set up here so we had the reef all to ourselves."
