"The house is nicer even than the photos indicate. Every detail considered, bohemian and charming. Good views of Capiloveri from two different decks and a lovely private courtyard with fountain. Ingrid gave us a generous tour of her studio and relayed the interesting history of the place. There is a quiet trail directly across from the property that leads down to the water - we had young kids and so didn't make it all the way."

"L'appartamento è stato pulito e conforme alla descrizione. Ben arredato e con tanti confort. La terrazza è fantastica e spaziosa. La posizione è comoda per arrivare un po' dappertutto. "Das Haus liegt in Zanca ca. 160 m über Seehöhe im Nordwesten von Elba, ziemlich abgeschieden. Bis zum Stand von St. Andrea geht man bergab ca. 15-20 Minuten, bergauf ist es besonders bei höheren Temperaturen schon recht anstrengend. Einen kleinen Lebensmittelmarkt gibt es in ca. 150 m Entfernung, einen Bäcker in ca. 500 m Entfernung (bergab). Die Hausausstattung ist unterdurchschnittlich. Es ist weder eine elektr. Kaffeemaschine noch ein Toaster vorhanden. Küchenutensilien sind einfacher Art....

"Not sure why this place has a 4 star rating, a 3-star rating is being nice. While it’s close to the beach and the house keeping staff were amazing, that’s about all the nice things I can say. The check in staff was rude and basically threw us our key and didn’t explain anything. We got yelled at for parking near our room after being told to park there to unload our bags ourselves. While there is a private beach for the hotel, they don’t tell you beforehand hand that you have to pay to use it....

Room clean but very basic, needs an upgrade, door sticks, first hotel or b&b I've visited in 20 years with no kettle or hot drink facilities in room. Absolutely no entertainment or guest facilities/enjoyment provided, nothing to do here but eat and drink very expensive and pretentious food in very small portions.
