"Lovely cabin near great hiking trails. Loved the front deck where you can enjoy peaceful morning coffee. Some ants in the cabin but not surprising as you are literally in the national forest. The cookware was surprisingly good compared to many vacation rental places that we have visited (glad to see stainless steel pans/pots/gadgets over scratched up non-sticks and plastics).Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.Would love to come back. Highly recommend"

"We had a great time in this cabin. It was clean and inviting. We made friends with one of the cats, Oreo. We were hiking so didn't spend much time outside the cabin, but there were some activities that you could enjoy outside. You may get woken up by the sound of a rooster or other critters which was not a problem for us."

"San Damiano was a very nice retreat. We could tell the staff does everything possible to be responsive and ensure a good stay. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows and just the right size. The fridge, microwave and stove are all new and we had all the utensils we needed. Good fireplace. The back area is very scenic. But be CAREFUL. Remember the back is a cliff. Our dog leaped off the cliff chasing a squirrel and plummeted about 200 feet. He's alive but in bad shape. The rooms, porches and roads could use an upgrade, but it wasn't that big of a deal for us. Looks like management is putting effort into appliances and service and responsiveness."

"Staying in this treehouse was so cool! It was clean, easy to find, and as comfortable as a tiny house in a tree could be. It was TINY though so I wouldn't stay there with more than 2 people (and be sure to pack light!) Its location is excellent. The space under the tree and the pavillion were nice areas to hang out in. We drove down the road to look at the Iron Furnace ajd went to the gift shop for ice cream each night."
