The property was materially misrepresented in the listing. Most notably, the beds are not queen beds as advertised - even by the French definition; they are “lit double” beds which are significantly smaller than a French queen. This made the sleeping arrangements uncomfortable and unsuitable for our family.When we asked for extra sheets so we could make up the couch for our son, both the owner and local host said the host could not return because we had checked in on a Sunday. We were also told that an extra set of sheets would cost 30 as an additional service. Given that the bed sizes did not match the listing, this response felt unreasonable and disappointing.The house itself is also more run-down than the photos suggest, and several dishes had been put away dirty. For the price, the condition and level of service were not acceptable.The beach access is the main selling point, and it is nice. But for our family, that did not make up for the inaccurate listing, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, poor cleanliness, and lack of helpful support.
